Walk to the Silos! 3 Bed 1960's Bungalow near Baylor

Summary:
One block from the Silos and next to the famous "Shotgun House", this cute 3 bed/2 bath bungalow is the perfect spot for you and your family to explore the Magnolia market and downtown Waco. Fully restored, you'll feel like your staying in one of Joanna's "fixer uppers". With a full kitchen, washer and dryer, one King bed and 2 Queen beds, this can be your "home away from home" in the Heart of Waco.

The Space:
Sleeps 6 people! Each of the 3 bedrooms has a super-comfy queen size bed and the master suite has an attached full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher along with pots, cooking utensils and dishes for cooking up gourmet meals while you're in town. Large washer/dryer set will take care of your laundry. And the dining table seats 6 with leaves to expand it to seat up to 10! Off-street parking makes sure you don't ever have to fight for a parking spot. :-)

The Neighborhood:
The bungalow is within short walking distance of the Magnolia Silos and downtown as well as many restaurants and fast food joints as you walk to towards I-35. Chick-fil-A, Panera bread, Torchy's Taco's, In and Out Burgers, just to name a few. One house down from the bungalow is the "Shotgun House" of Fixer-Upper fame. It's right across the highway from Baylor University so it makes a great landing pad for visiting students. 3 blocks off of Interstate 35 makes it easy to find.

Getting Around:
Walking will get you to many places but Uber and Lyft are also both available.

Our family of four had a wonderful four-night stay at this well-maintained, nicely appointed, and sparkling clean home in a quiet neighborhood near the Silos and Baylor University. Check-in and check-out were seamless, as was the interaction and communication with the host.We especially enjoyed the nearby restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shopping, and the short walk to the Silos.We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Waco.

Free wi-fi and a kitchen stocked with k-cups for coffee complete with creamer. There is a Brita in the fridge too! Like a hotel, they provided mini shampoos, soaps, etc., which was a nice touch. It was perfect for a girls weekend with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay! Only a 5 minute walk to the Silos!

Location to the Dr Pepper museum, silos and Marketplace was perfect. Communication with property managers was a little slow. When trying to get early check-in, link said there were no reservations attached to any of my information including confirmation number. This was scary as there were issues with payment, I tried contacting VRBO and the host several times when only a 50 charge was on my cc. Took over a week for someone to respond and I could make the payment for our stay. So, when it said no reaervations attached, I panicked. Thank goodness everything ended well but not a good experience. The home itself was nice and we did have an enjoyable trip in the end. Would not book with Villa Stays again.

Great place!

This house had the essentials and was so quaint and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. It is located in a perfect location, just one block from all things Magnolia. After touring the city, we learned many rental properties were not in very good/safe places, so we felt lucky to have stumbled upon this gem. It was located amid other rental properties and was easy to get around all the great things to do in Waco. We had a wonderful time!
