Recreation park De Boshoek in the Veluwe is a holiday park for young and old. Our facilities are very child-friendly and we have countless possibilities for entertainment! Think of a sports park with interactive soccer wall or various playgrounds both big and small. There is also an animation team during the school holidays at our holiday park on the Veluwe. A vacation in the Netherlands unfortunately means that the weather can be poor at times. This is not a problem: you can have fun in the indoor swimming pool, or in the atmospheric bowling cave.

Facilities on De Boshoek

Entertainment team for the children: During the school holidays, our entertainment team is ready for your children. These professional entertainers are specially trained to deliver an unforgettable vacation to your children. The Kids Club at Entertainment Park De Boshoek is open to children between 3 and 12 years of age.

Playing, sports & games: Various playgrounds spread out over the park and interactive play elements will ensure that children of all ages won't be bored for a moment!

Interactive play is a possibility at the soccer wall "Sutu" or using the sound game "Sona". "Sutu" makes even simple soccer fun, thanks to various light and sound effects. "Sona" offers a cool playing floor where many children can play at once. New games become available all the time, meaning "Sona" will never get boring.

Various large and small playgrounds spread out over the park: Of course, a recreation park wouldn't be complete without some beautiful playgrounds. De Boshoek has many, like "The climbing farm", a true play paradise. The 7.5 meter high tower, from which children are able to slide down, is an adventure in its own right. Various lower slides and climbing facilities will ensure a great play experience for the smallest children.

Badminton, mini-golf and table tennis: Of course, there's also plenty of playing fun for the entire family. Play an enthusiastic game of badminton, show your skills at the mini-golf course or emerge victorious from a duel of table tennis. Reception is always available to help you with equipment like mini-golf clubs.

Wellness: At De Boshoek at the Veluwe, not only will you be able to enjoy nature and the fun activities, you can also take advantage of the wellness facilities at the camp site and the park. You can treat yourself to a visit to our sauna, the Turkish steam bath, the hairdresser and nail salon and the tanning salon

Swimming pool: Recreation Park De Boshoek features a heated outdoor swimming pool as well as an indoor one. Enjoy some wonderful relaxation or simply take a refreshing dive. It's all possible when staying at recreation park De Boshoek.

Indoor swimming pool: Even if it's pouring outside, the atmospheric, Mediterranean swimming pool at Recreation Park De Boshoek is always comfortable. The temperature of both the children's pool and the 7 x 13 m. pool is around 30°C. The tasteful decoration of the indoor swimming pool will make you feel like you're in a Mediterranean environment. During the children's holidays and in the weekends, you can even enjoy the sauna and a Turkish steam bath.

Outdoor swimming pool: Do you prefer to swim outdoors? A waterfall, jet streams, a bubble bank, massage jets and rapids make our heated outdoor swimming pool (up to 24 degrees Celsius) a great summer attraction between May and September. Near the pool, you'll find a large recreational meadow where you can enjoy the sun.

Toddler pool: Both the indoor and the outdoor swimming pool feature a toddler pool. In addition, there's also a 'splashing jungle' for the very smallest among us, offering a slide as well as other water games.

PLEASE NOTE, starting with September 2024 the swimming pool will be closed.

Restaurants: During your stay at Recreation Park De Boshoek, you'll be able to enjoy a delicious meal at one of our restaurants.

Supermarket: The supermarket offers a wide range of products: freshly baked bread rolls, groceries, camping articles and toys.

Wireless Internet: You can use internet for free, when you make connection with WIFI.

Launderette: The park features two launderettes equipped with professional washing and drying machines.

Bicycle rental: You can rent a bicycle starting at € 9.50 per day.



The group villa is ideal for a group holiday in the Veluwe. The luxurious and large villa offers space for 24 people. With eleven bedrooms and four bathrooms, there is enough room for everyone. Next to the villa are two hotel lodges for two people each. In total a great group location for 28 people! On the ground floor of the villa you will find a spacious living room with a large comfortable sofa, TV and decorative fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and three dining tables, four bedrooms with comfortable box spring beds, two bathrooms and two separate toilets. The Hotellodges are tastefully and nicely furnished with, among other things, comfortable box-spring beds, a living room area, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with a sink and toilet, and a separate shower. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle.

The remaining seven bedrooms are on the first floor of the villa, as well as the two bathrooms. There is also a separate toilet. This combined group accommodation has various child-friendly facilities such as a high chair, cot, play set and sandpit. In the spacious fenced (not enclosed) garden you enjoy a lot of privacy and beautiful nature. This place is ideal for a large group with max. 28 people. Fun with the whole family or with a large group of friends!

Recreation park De Boshoek is a versatile holiday park in the village of Voorthuizen.
The holiday park is surrounded by the state forests. From the park there are excellent opportunities for cycling or walking.
The Veluwe offers enormous opportunities for young and old for entertainment, sport, culture and fun. Amusement parks such as the Julianatoren, Dolfinarium, Walibi, Burgers' Zoo, Apenheul and more! For the hikers there is of course the National Park the Veluwe and various recreational areas with different walking routes. The Open Air Museum and National Museum Het Loo Palace offer enough inspiration for culture lovers. Do you like cycling, walking, water sports, action sports, museums, amusement parks or days out? There is plenty to do in the Veluwe for young and old!



PLEASE NOTE! Age restriction: youth groups under 21 year old are not accepted. Youth groups are asked a deposit of 100, € per person to be paid at arrival.

Late arrival procedure
Guests can arrive at any time after 4:00 PM. The accommodation will be open from 4:00 PM, and the key will be placed inside. Some accommodations have a digital lock, for which the Boshoek app needs to be downloaded. Please provide the license plate and email address before arrival for the app and access to the barrier. Note that young groups and parties are not allowed.

Arrival via locker
There are 5 lockers on the right side of the entrance to the reception. In the locker, the guest will find the key to the accommodation and the map with the route to the booked accommodation.

Arrival via Restaurant
In exceptional cases it is possible to check in at the restaurant. In the restaurant, the welcome envelope with key is ready for the guest. There, the route to the accommodation is explained by the catering employee present.
