'Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.'

'We didn't get a chance to try the hot tub but the grounds are beautiful and all staff at lodge and restaurant were kind and helpful. Food was delicious and proximity to Kilauea volcano sights was super convenient. Hope to come back again soon!'

'Great place to stay, Leon was super nice he showed us around and everything was clean and just a wonderful stay over all...all the bad reviews are probably people not from the island and expected a hotel and its not,it is like a home away from home very homey feeling and vibes...he has a new number so message him thru the app first to get his number 10/10 recommend '

'We checked in on the 1st of December and arrived around 8 p.m. Our keys and packet were waiting for us at the kiosk with no issues. Our room was amazing—quiet, convenient, and clean. The property was clean as well. We messaged for room service, and they came with no issues. Extra amenities were available in the lobby too. We were there for six nights, and I will definitely be staying again. I would recommend checking in before dark—the road is kind of tricky to find.'

'This is a fantastic spot if you’re spending time at Volcanoes National Park. Shannon and her husband were great hosts. The room was very nice and had a water fall feature that really added to the ambiance and enhanced our experience there. They had e-bikes available that gave us a unique experience in the park. Wish we had spent 2 nights. '
