Welcome to “3732 Underground”—a cozy, thoughtfully designed suite offering a modern home-base to rest, and enjoy the best of what makes Victoria charming. Whether you’re here for a quick visit or a longer stay, you’ll find everything you need to settle in comfortably.

We designed the space around our favourite Airbnb experiences—comfortable and practical, but with thoughtful touches we hope you’ll enjoy.

The space
“3732 Underground” is a private, self-contained garden-level suite with its own separate entrance, designed to be simple, comfortable, and easy to settle into—whether you’re arriving after a long flight, a late ferry, (or both), or a full day wandering Butchart Gardens.

Inside, you’ll find a tidy, modern layout with everything you need for a short or longer stay:
• One bedroom with a comfortable queen bed
• A full bathroom with tub/shower, JUMBO-sized towels, and locally or Canadian-made bath products selected because we think nice smelling shampoo & handsoap can make or break a vacation.
• A fully equipped kitchen for cooking at your convenience
• A pull out couch for rainy day lounging, and a specially fitted full-size sofa mattress for additional guests.
• An air purifier in the suite for added comfort
• Two new and strong fans for the warmer months.
• Electric heating for the cooler months.

You’ll find small touches of Victoria throughout the space—little reminders from your hosts that you’re on the Island, in a place we think is pretty special.

You’re welcome to spend time in our itty bitty backyard, or step out and explore the surrounding area. The suite is just steps from Quarry Park (great for kids) and the Royal Bay walking trails, connecting you to Latoria Creek Park, Meadow Park, and the ocean. A nearby BC Hydro EV charging station adds convenience, while grocery stores, a pharmacy, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Big box stores like Walmart & superstore can be accessed with only a 5-10 minute drive to Westshore Town Centre. The beach is about a 15-minute stroll away.

We find the space works well for solo travellers, working professionals, couples, those visiting family nearby, or small groups looking for a comfortable and convenient home base.

Arrival & Parking

The driveway accommodates most vehicles, although larger SUVs and full-size trucks may find parking a little tight.

Free street parking is available nearby if needed.

Smoke Alarms

The suite is equipped with interconnected smoke alarms throughout the house.

If cooking creates a little smoke and the alarm sounds, don’t worry—it happens! Turning on the range fan and opening a window will help to prevent the alarm.

House Rules

To help us keep the suite welcoming for everyone, we kindly ask that you:
• Please remove your shoes inside the suite.
• Please help us keep the suite looking its best by taking reasonable care of the furnishings and walls.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
• No pets.
• Only registered guests are permitted on the property.
• No parties or events.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

A Note About Noise

The upstairs home is occupied by our family, including our young son (under one year old).

We genuinely appreciate our guests and do our best to minimize noise—especially between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. That said, as with most garden-level suites, you may occasionally hear normal household sounds such as footsteps, running water, household appliances, or the occasional toddler adventure.

Likewise, please don’t worry about everyday living noise from your stay. We rarely hear our guests unless doors are slammed or voices become unusually loud.
