Mountain retreat with peace, warmth and history

The cabin's nestled in a secluded spot in the mountains, close to the forest and a good distance from the neighbours. Here, the days tend to pass a little more slowly. The rough-hewn log walls are built from timber that's several hundred years old, giving the rooms warmth, character, and a history you can feel.



Inside, it’s cosy and personal, with underfloor heating throughout, a fireplace in the living room, and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen. After a cold day outdoors, you can cook up something delicious, grab a book, and let the evening unfold with conversation, a glass of something nice—or simply no plans at all.



When the weather cooperates, the large terrace becomes an extra living space. Light a fire in the fire pit, dine outdoors on bright summer evenings, or sink into the wood-fired hot tub under the open sky. In winter, snow settles around the cabin while the fire crackles in the hearth. Summer and fall offer fresh mountain air, beautiful colours, and nature right outside your door.



Nearby, you can go for walks to places like Fiskeløysvatnet and Grønsenknippa. At Vasetstølen and Syndinstøga, local cuisine and a cosy mountain atmosphere await. If you’re up for a longer excursion, Fagernes, Beitostølen and Jotunheimen are all within easy reach.



This is a place for mountain hikes and nature experiences, but perhaps most of all for peaceful days together—with heated floors, a fire in the fireplace, and time to simply be right where you are.
