The space
Mascareta is a bright and charming apartment located in the heart of Venice. Just a short walk from the apartment is Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio, a typical daytime and nighttime gathering spot for Venetians: during the day, it’s frequented by mothers and children for chats and games, while in the evening it transforms into a gathering spot for a spritz or a pleasant outdoor dinner at one of the many quaint venues, making it a “traditional” square.

The windows of Mascareta offer an enchanting view of the Venetian rooftops, making it the ideal retreat after a day spent exploring the many attractions Venice has to offer. The apartment, with its functional simplicity, is equipped with every comfort: a living area with a double sofa bed, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. It’s ideal for couples and families.

In addition, the apartment features air conditioning (A/C) and free Wi-Fi.

Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio not only offers a variety of restaurants and bars but also convenient amenities such as a supermarket open every day (including Sundays), a pastry shop, a bakery, and a fruit and vegetable store. Just a 10-minute walk away is the famous Rialto Market, with its colorful fish stalls.

The San Stae vaporetto stop is a 5-minute walk away. The train station is a 10-minute walk away, while Piazzale Roma is 15 minutes away. You can also walk to Rialto in 10 minutes.

We’ll welcome you personally upon your arrival and provide you with all the information you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We’ll be available to assist with any needs, either via Airbnb messaging or by phone at the number we’ll provide.

The tourist tax is NOT included in the price. Upon arrival, you will be asked to present a valid ID, as required by national law, to complete the registration process.

Check-in is free from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For check-ins after 8:00 PM, availability is limited and the following surcharges apply, payable upon arrival:

From 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM: €35
From 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM: €50
We cannot guarantee check-in after 12:30 a.m.

After 8:00 p.m., you can check in on your own by filling out the online check-in form and scheduling an appointment with our staff for the following day, between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., so we can verify your identity and collect the tourist tax.

Finally, please note that trash disposal is not included in the cleaning fees.
