The hotel is located very convenient and there is a supermarket downstairs. Wished the room had more tables as it only had 2 very small night stands. No counters space in the bathroom. The hotel ran out of water while my child was shower. It only had burning HOT water. Then no water at all. Text the hotel staff and didn't get back to me until the next day. No front desk staff.

Initially our first impression was great that this hotel was very nice but soon after that faded. The bathroom smelled extremely awful worse than sewer water! The cleaning staff was very rude. Whoever was responding on Expedia wasnā€™t clear about how to pay taxes since the links they sent didnā€™t work. Finally they said to pay with cleaning lady so we did and she yelled NO, NO, NO! Like we were children, when tried to pay for the taxes with a card. I gave her cash then she didnā€™t have change so I had to overpay not by choice. Will not recommend this place to friends or family and will not consider this hotel again.

Property location is a Diamond. However - I do think that if the room is marketed for a family - Better storage options should be considered especially in the bathroom.

The hotel was in a great location with a couple of really yummy restaurants right outside the door and a little grocery store as well. The rooms were spacious, super clean, and well air conditioned. I would definitely come back here again!

The room was very clean, and the hotel has gone through major renovation, yet maintaining its original facade and historic nature. The balconies were particularly pleasant opportunities for a relaxing start to the day. There is no front staff, but I could get quick responses through texting, and the codes were sent for checking in on time.

My friend and I travelled North of Italy and Venice was our last stop. It was unfortunate that Grifoni Boutique was our least favourite stay. We weren't comfortable and were looking forward to returning home. The good thing was, we were only in Venice for two days and maximized our time exploring that we were only in our room to sleep and shower. Pros: - Right across the grocery store. We stocked up on fruits and water - Away from the tourist crowds but within walking distance to the main attraction. If you haven't been to Venice before, the streets are always congested and we preferred a quieter area. Cons: - Not comfortable! Our room was very humid and we didn't have control of the a/c. We visited in the spring and keep in mind, it will get hotter if you're visiting in the summer. The bathroom was very moist and you can see the condensation on the walls. - We were spoiled from our other stays and had cleaned towels everyday. Grifoni only provided one towel per person the entire stay. Since the ventilation in our unit was poor, we were drying ourselves in a damp towel. - The bed was very springy and pillows are flat - You can hear everything. We can hear every step from the person staying above us and their conversations. - Since there is no front desk, I contacted staff by WhatsApp. We asked if there was an iron in our rooms. As well, we inquired how to book a porter to take us to the train station. They took two days to respond - after we checked out.

The booking process was a little unusual. Had to reach out to get the correct link to an online form, which was later sent through WhatsApp. I also had to pay the city tax through a site, and this could have been due to my check in date and time being Sunday at midnight. I was given a form with pictures and directions on how to arrive but Maps was able to direct us as well (we compared both) the code to enter the building and then enter the room was very easy.

Good quiet stay
Very clean, comfortable new room. If you are after a quiet out of the main part of Venice spot this is perfect. It is a bit of a walk to St Marco, however it does have restaurants and bars close by with a small convenience store right at front.

Really nice hotel except for the pillows
Really nice hotel. Nice room with balcony. Good air conditioning and good bathroom. Unfortunately the pillows were so bad we did not sleep well the two nights we stayed there. Softer pillows would be great for improving the stay. Also, the refrigerator did not work.

The place is nice! The bed a bit hard, only 1 pillow per person you can ask for more but since is contact less you will get what you need next day. Donā€™t follow the directions they give you! They make you go grow a lot of bridges that are not adĆ©cuate with ramps for luggage. Follow google for me was easier on the way back!
