La Villa – Évasion au lac avec sauna, jacuzzi & bateaux

Summary:

Gather by Lake Åsunden in a private villa with panoramic views, a jetty, sauna, fireplace and space to dine together. The main house sleeps 12 in five bedrooms; the boathouse adds two places and is included for bookings of 13–14 guests. Enjoy the sauna year-round, plus jacuzzi, two motorboats and a canoe from May to October. Winter jacuzzi is available as an extra.



The Space:

The villa offers 350 sqm of living space across two floors and is designed for large families or groups who value space, comfort and privacy.



Main living level (ground floor – approx. 180 sqm)



The main level features 12-meter panoramic windows facing the lake with unobstructed views across the water. The entire floor is equipped with underfloor heating, making it comfortable year-round.



The dining area seats up to 14 people and connects to a spacious living room with a grand piano, large screen, and Bose sound system. High-speed fiber internet (150 Mbit/s) with access points throughout the house ensures stable connectivity in all rooms.



A new sauna, located directly next to the living room, allows easy access between relaxation and the lake terrace.



The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for large groups and includes oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, and a refrigerator with ice maker. The utility room beside the kitchen has a washing machine, dryer and wine fridge.

Upper floor



The main house sleeps 12 guests across five upstairs bedrooms. Room numbers follow the floor plan:

• Bedrooms 1, 2, 4 and 5: one double bed each (180 × 200 cm)

• Bedroom 3: two bunk beds, with four sleeping places (90 × 200 cm each)

The double beds can be separated into single beds.

Upstairs there are two shower rooms, each with a toilet, plus a separate room with a bathtub only (no toilet). There is an additional separate WC on the ground floor.



Boathouse — two additional sleeping places

For bookings of 13–14 guests, the boathouse is added automatically. It has a double bed in the sleeping loft, with a kitchenette and a shower room with toilet below. For smaller groups, it can be added separately. The boathouse can also be used in winter, but its water supply is switched off: please use the kitchen and bathrooms in the main house.

Outdoor areas



Outside, multiple terraces surround the house. The outdoor kitchen features a gas burner and pizza oven. A 35-meter private jetty extends into the lake, allowing direct access for swimming or cooling down after sauna sessions. Subtle garden and jetty lighting create a calm evening atmosphere.



Guest Access:

You have exclusive access to the entire villa, sauna and outdoor areas.

Parking for up to 5 cars is available on the property. No street parking.



Please note: no shoes inside the house.



The Neighborhood:

The neighbors are truly friendly – very typically Swedish. Please say hello to everyone; a simple “Hej” is always appreciated and creates a welcoming atmosphere.



We kindly ask you to respect the privacy of others: please do not enter neighboring properties and avoid driving boats close to other houses. When using the access road to the house, please drive slowly – children and animals may be present.



Getting Around:

The nearby town of Ulricehamn (to the north) offers a lively atmosphere with good restaurants, cafés, and bars.



For fishing enthusiasts: the lake can be fished with a valid fishing permit, available at the local tourist information office or online via iFiske. From May to October, your stay includes access to two motorboats and one canoe. Boats are not available from November to April.



For hikers, we have several maps available on-site, including regional topographic maps, local hiking maps, and a lake chart for Åsunden.



For daily groceries, Gällstad is about 10 minutes away. If you’re interested in shopping, Gällstad also features a large outlet center. Ulricehamn is approximately 16 km away.

✔ Bed linen and towels are provided for all booked guests. A linen fee of 130 SEK per guest per stay is automatically included in the booking total. No separate linen order is required.

✔ Electricity: a flat fee of 500 SEK per stay is already included in the booking total; no separate electricity payment is required.

✔ No security deposit

✔ High-speed fiber internet (150 Mbit/s)
