Villa's in Vega de Río Palmas

'The Villa is massive with very large rooms and just about larger en-suite bathrooms! It sits in wonderful grounds and is virtually silent both day and night which suited our requirements perfectly. There were only two of us so six bedrooms is somewhat of an overkill but the villa’s position on the island meant that we could do everything we wanted to do without spending hours driving. 'Het welkom was heel goed. Fabrizio is een fijne betrokken host. Flexibel met onze wensen en snel met reageren op vragen. Het huisje was ook perfect voor ons. Een zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Alles was schoon en compleet. Mooie plek als uitvalsbasis met kinderen als je een auto hebt en van rust houdt.'

'Pros: Huge swimming pool and plenty of things for the kids to play with in the games room. Nice quiet and secure location with gate so the kids can run around freely. Hosts were lovely and cleaned the pool/outside area midway throughout holiday. Hot tub was lovely. Plenty of utensils/plates etc in the kitchen for use. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year already!'

'Villa was well presented, and a good location for visiting places around the south half of the island (Antigua to Morrow Jable) eg the Cheese Museum, Salt Museum, Windmill, Ajuy (with walk to Palm grove), Betancuria, Playa de Sotavento and Playa de la Barca access N and S for lagoon beaches. Gran Tarajal is best place for Supermarket and restaurants. Very difficult to get exact location from host, and some other check-in details not clear. VRBO not too helpful! VRBO listing needs updating....

'Overall the accommodation was just ok, but for a property sleeping 10 people, it’s very basic. The furnishings have seen better days the two of the double beds were not good the place is lacking in basics like crockery and even utensils. Thankfully Ikea was close by and we had purchased items The villa is lacking in the kitchen, one travel kettle which was faulty. We missed that there was no dishwasher and oven until we had booked.
