Lodges in Upper Peninsula

'We had a very nice stay away from the heat of Ky. We rented a boat to go to Pictured Rocks which was stunning. Also went to various falls and went kayaking. We built some nice fires and really enjoyed the area. The lodge was extremely well stocked. If you enjoy the outdoors there is plenty of hikes and activities. Lake Superior is very close with plenty of roadside turnoffs so you can get to the beach.'

'Our travel plans changed last minute and we were glad to find this place to stay that was convenient to so much we wanted to do in the UP. It was just a few minutes to groceries and restaurants and also provided us with great access to the National Lakeshore. The property is huge with lots of space for the dogs and privacy. 'We took 3 teen boys with us and they loved all the games and they walked everywhere. It's a perfect location for families. Our 4 day stay was wonderful. The owner has thought of everything and you’ll even find extra phone charging cables in the kitchen drawers. The beds are super comfy and there's extra quilts in the rooms too.The exterior is vibrant and unique. He really has every detail thoughtfully done inside and out. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We're very happy with our time...

'The property was super clean, comfortable, fun and within walking distance to anything you need in Copper Harbor. I specifically loved that all the windows were opened when we arrived to let in all that U.P. fresh air! Mark was an incredible host! He was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He was especially accommodating to our 4 young children. We will definitely be back! It is truly the perfect spot to stay! '

'Our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge was fantastic. The cabin was better than I could have imagined. It was so clean and you had an instant feeling of home when you walked in. We came up to the UP for our elopement at Black Rocks. We had a few people we were close with (9 adults 3 children) stay with us and this cabin accommodated us well! They spray for mosquitoes so even though you are deep deep deep in the woods you’re actually able to be outside. The owner was amazing and very responsive! The cabin...
