'Overall stay was OK. Front desk help was very good . Bar staff needs help, arrived 10 minutes before kitchen closing and bar staff didn’t even know I was in the room. Guess we’re not ordering food. ( it was not overly busy) Got cold beer from my personal cooler in car instead of cocktails at bar. Has menu changed at all in last 5 years? Appetizer choices looked familiar. King bed was way too firm for a good night sleep. Glad my wife wasn’t with to go thru that. Morning food selections were...

'While they offer breakfast, it is only continental'

'Our room was large, very comfortable with a king bed and sofa bed. The large walk-in shower was a plus. The room was not so good with noise between floors and from the hallway. Wasn’t enthusiastic about the check in area being in the coffee shop. That being said, we would definitely stay there again.'

'Great location in historic downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Motel has been reasonably modernized and updated. However, the bedding was worn and uncomfortable. The pillows were long past their prime and very uncomfortable. No blanket on the bed--just a thin worn bedspread and an old discolored bedsheet. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The portable room air conditioner is installed above the bed in a hole in the wall which was not well-sealed. Cold air from outside blew down onto the bed...

'Room price is a bit high for an older hotel that is clean but worn. It has a nice restaurant but normally hotels with this level of pricing provide at least a continental breakfast. TV was really small by modern standards and program choice was minimal. '
