'This place is NOT a resort by any stretch o the imagination! The pictures and online description are extremely and intentionally misleading. Breezy Palms is a run down motel with furniture that looks like it came straight from a landfill. It is also NOT on a beach as falsely stated online. There is a small roped off water area full of trash and ocean sludge. Some sand was trucked to create a “beach” area which is next to a boat dock that has zero water access due to the amount of sharks swimming...

'The hotel was in the mist of redoing it's landscaping by adding gaint palm trees and some new boat docks, but it didn't interfere with the overall feel of the place. We enjoyed the free paddle boards and pool. Its also located on a beautiful part of the Keys'

'Can't get over just how charming the room was. It was immaculate & the staff couldn't have been more friendly. They provided beach towels and kayaks, paddleboards, etc which was a plus. We were very comfortable & extremely pleased. Highly recommend!!'

'We stayed at Hadley House for two nights and had a wonderful stay. I honestly do not understand what many people are complaining about. The room (including the floor!) was clean and comfortable. Free coffee was good. Staff at reception was very friendly; I think we spoke to four different people and they were all nice and welcoming. Yes, there is no beach, but they don't claim there is. They offer 'ocean front' and that is true. Breakfast is simple, but hey, at least it is something. Again,...

'Neat apartment with very comfortable beds! Also a nice kitchen with dining table. No 24/7 front desk on site, but just a 5 min drive to the main Islander resort. We were also allowed to make use of all the facilities at the main resort. '

'Love this property! Our family had the most amazing time in the villas. The location is great and the property is really well kept with amazing staff. We enjoyed the pool, the kids game area, pickle ball and relaxing in the home. Highly recommend!!'

'The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so.'

'Mooie plek aan het water. De zonsondergang was heel mooi bij de waterkant. Strandje, bbq plek. Leuk terrein. De kamer is leuk ingericht en was mooi. Mooie badkamer en lekker bed. We konden eerder inchecken. Heel fijn. Vriendelijk personeel. In de buurt supermarkt en restaurants. Er zijn kamers aan de straatkant en dan hoor je s ochtends wel de auto’s. Er zijn ook kamers bij het zwembad en met uitzicht op zee. '

My complaints were that the back sliding door wouldn’t lock which is a huge safety issue even I told staff they told me I could switch to another room ; before doing so I went to check if I wouldn’t encounter the same issue which I did….
