'Lovely room in the detached cottage. Nice garden to sit in. Nice breakfast and helpful staff'

'Good hotel, good location, although all the outside restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, which was good. Parking is in a public parking place 5 minutes away; hotel guests pay half the normal price: 8 GBP a day. Nice and helpful staff. Room was not very large but OK although the airco caused an unpleasant draught and had to be switched off when I was in the room. My main gripe is the wifi connection in the room which runs (if it runs at all) at 0.16...

'Lovely room, however only 2 plug sockets on the lower part of the wall which wasn't practical for using the kettle Shower was unpredictable, hot one day and cold the next Lovely pub and food , great staff Overall a nice place to stay'

'8/10'

'A cheap and cheerful night on the outskirts of Derby. The hotel is rather hidden away and not well signposted. I checked in, room was clean with tea/coffee available. The rooms are single storey, bungalow style There is parking right outside of the rooms'

'Good food available. Close to downtown.'

'The Accommodation was very clean and modern. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was amazing'

'Great stay in a great location.'

'Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property'
