"We stayed here for one night, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis while sleeping under the open sky. It got cloudy, so we didn’t get the spectacle we were hoping for. However, this didn’t diminish the experience of sleeping among the trees in a cozy, warm bubble. It was –2°C and it even snowed during the night, but the warm air blown into the tent, two blankets and an electric blanket made sure we stayed perfectly comfortable. And luckily for us, we did get to see the northern lights on our drive up to the parking lot beforehand. "

"This hotel is located right on the ring road but far enough removed that you don't hear any traffic. Parking is not a problem as there is a lot of space available. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spaceous. The only thing we missed in the room is a kettle but in the lobby you can get your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate and you can take the cup back to your room which solves the missing kettle. We would definitely recommend this location as a quiet place to spend the night."

"Great stay at a comfortable hotel near the bridge and river os Selfoss. Selfoss seems to be an attractive village since we met a traffic jam twice. There is a Food court and several restaurants nearby. Great service and hospitality from the hotel. An early breakfast was possible. "Hadden het kleinste huisje. Alles is gedateerd, maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Heeft een aparte slaapkamer voor 3 personen die erg krap en niet echt comfortabel is. Als bonus wel gezamenlijke hottubs met lekker heet en super schoon water. "
