The Space:
Little Argyle Tiny House by Tiny Away is located in a town in Coonabarabran, NSW. The ultimate farm stay NSW getaway with a 2-3 hr drive to Mudgee Brewery, Pokolbin Wineries, and the town of Bylong. Other nearby attractions include Warrumbungles National Park, Pilliga Pottery, Pilliga Sandstone Caves, and Barkala Farm Stay.
A comfortable accommodation of 139 square feet with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the host's private residence the rear garden, and inside of sheds or garages. Guests are allowed to explore the property but are advised to take caution around dams and when walking through long grass.

Barkala Farm Stay offers a true slice of Australian country life and is home to the well-known Pilliga Pottery, where you can try your hand at ceramics or browse handcrafted pieces fresh from the kiln. For a relaxed start to your morning, the Blue Wren Café is a welcoming spot for coffee and brunch. If you’re curious about the stars, visit the Siding Springs Observatory, open on weekdays for tours and a look through one of the region’s largest telescopes.
Just nearby, Warrumbungle National Park (known as the “starry sky reserve”) draws astronomy enthusiasts for some of the clearest night skies in the country. Between farm life, art, and stargazing, this region captures a unique rhythm that’s both down-to-earth and quietly fascinating.

We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle in getting to the property and other nearby attractions.
Other Things to Note:
PLEASE READ: Due to the extreme frosts that we are experiencing, there is a possibility that the water may freeze. It is advised to have showers at night before the cold really sets in.

- Weber BBQ is available for guests to use
- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times
- We have a fire pit available for guest usage
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Recycling bins are provided to dispose of trash properly
- Firewood can be purchased on site for $20 per bag
- Home-grown eggs will be supplied for guests to consume
- Long-life milk and butter in small packets will be supplied for guests to consume
- We ask guests to exercise caution when walking near the dams
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
