Cozy apartment in a wooden house, perfect for hiking enthusiasts and active travelers

The apartment is located on the first floor of the wooden house and is particularly suitable for singles or couples (discount) or a maximum of 3–4 people. The upper floor is occupied. The living room and small bedroom are separated only by a curtain. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a single or double bed (max. 2 x 1 m). The piano is available upon request. The bathroom, which includes a toilet and shower, has a window. The kitchen is spacious and bright. The wooden deck offers space for breakfast or a cozy spot to unwind at the end of the day. I’m happy to welcome hiking enthusiasts and anyone who wants to explore the beautiful natural surroundings here or nearby. Riedern am Wald is located in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, close to Switzerland. A car is helpful for quickly reaching the most popular starting points (Feldberg, Schluchsee, Wutschschlucht, St. Blasien—all within 20–30 minutes). Many scenic trails are very well marked and can be completed in half-day hikes. But there are also lesser-known gorges and natural wonders to marvel at—if you’d like, you can spend the whole day exploring the fields and forests. Perhaps you’d like a short tour of my flower and vegetable garden or some tips for things to do—you’re welcome to ask. The wooden house has thin walls—if that’s a problem for you, you’d be better off looking for something else. The apartment is for non-smokers only (including on the terrace) and for people who treat the wooden furnishings with care (please bring your own slippers). You won’t find luxury here, but you’ll have everything you need to live comfortably.
