Perfect Get Away

The house was perfect for our impromptu anniversary "get-away". Chris and i started dating 43 years ago and have been married for 39! We have no complaints. Our time was lovely... we didn't want to leave. Thank you! Chris & Cristi Scott

Relaxing venue
With the lake and dock out the front and woods behind, this home was a delight. The kitchen was well-appointed. WiFi strength was not impressive, but that’s a part of the deal with many rural properties. Owners were immediately responsive to questions and/or problems. We were lucky to view the eclipse from the dock. Nice front porch and back deck. This was exactly what we were hoping for when we rented

Cozy Cabin on the Lake
Our stay was completely relaxing and peaceful. The perfect little get-a-way to the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and was beyond comfortable. Just steps away from the fire pit and the lake itself, created views and atmosphere that are hard to find anywhere else. Communication with the hosts was fast and easy. Definitely appreciated thier fast and detailed responses. If i had to give it 1 critique/suggestion it would be to have an axe/hatchet for the firewood and to keep the firewood covered/tarped. Once that wood gets wet, you wont be having a fire for days. Other than that, our stay was overall amazing and would definitely return. Thank you again 😁

Great Get-Away
Great get-away for us! Size of the place was perfect for 1 couple (even plus 1). A big positive was having a private dock to leave our boat at overnite. Beautiful lake and area. Bonus restaurant in walking distance.

Great weather and Tranquility
My fourth time staying at this house. Always very nice and the host are great. Caught a few fish off the dock and saw a few deer one morning Always so peaceful here . Hope to be back soon. Thanks to the host again.

Everything you need. A great experience to feel the down home feeling at Hide away. Purely clean throughout and the Hosts were amazing.

Just the details cleaning, was not good, blids dusting , cabinets Dusting floor dirty, the towels were rushed. Also we never play the DVD because the tv remote was not working 😕

Delightful getaway
We just left, and this was a lovely little location. Inviting, cozy, clean. 10/10 would recommend! It smelled great, very clean, thoughtfully decorated, and well stocked. The only downside was, I thought it had a king bed, but I don’t remember what was on the description. I definitely wouldn’t let that keeps us from going back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
