Enjoy your holiday in a combination of loft and beach house on a property with direct access to the lake.
Dogs are always welcome, but there is only enough space in the house for one animal.
THE RED WOODEN HOUSE (72 m2 living space) is airy and high, spacious and at the same time practical and elegant. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), a spacious bathroom (with bathtub including whirlpool function) and a large living room with open-plan kitchen and fireplace.
All doors in the house are 1 metre wide. This means that every corner of the house can be reached with a wheelchair.
The spacious carport is located to the side and covers the entrance to the house. This means you can always bring your holiday luggage and shopping directly from the car into the house in a dry place. And a wheelchair can roll directly from the car into the house.
We are happy to welcome older people, people with assistance needs, young families and couples on holiday, as well as artists who want to work in peace for a while. We, your hosts, are former theatre makers. Hence our preference for INSZENIERUNG.
SUSTAINABILITY.
We believe in sustainability: the house, built in 2020, is built to the standards of an efficiency house. Our electricity comes from GREEN PLANET ENERGY. We heat with infrared electric heaters, a demonstrably sustainable way of heating. We have two SOLAR SYSTEMS on the roof, one with storage (since 2025). Waste separation is clear, we have our OWN WASTE STATION on the property. There is also a bin for BIO WASTE. In addition, we have our own charging station with electricity meter for e-car drivers. In this respect, our house is UNIQUE on the estate.
GENERAL LOCATION
The house is located in a holiday home estate with over 20 other houses of various sizes. The holiday park was built in 2006 by the NIERS family, who run their riding stable with a small petting zoo and children's playground in the front part of the park.
The large meadow in which the holiday park is located is owned by the Niers family.
The gravelled paths are lined with trees and shrubs. The houses are all privately owned and are run individually by the owners. In this respect, the pricing is also quite inconsistent.
FACILITIES:
LIVING / DINING / KITCHEN
When you enter the house, you stand right next to the large wardrobe. Here you can store jackets, coats, hats and shoes. You have an overview of the entire living area. Two steps and you are already standing in front of the open-plan kitchen area. Short distances with your shopping.
When you enter the house, you immediately notice the cathedral-like height. Combined with excellent insulation, it always ensures a fresh coolness in summer. The house is built to apartment block quality. The floor-to-ceiling living room windows, the light-coloured wood of the sloping ceiling running up to the gable and the reddish terracotta tiled floor make the house always appear sunny. The elegant Danish wood-burning stove stands in the fireplace corner like a column-like sculpture. In winter, you can heat up the whole house in no time at all.
KITCHEN
The open-plan kitchen area boasts a small, chic fitted kitchen: fridge and freezer,
sink with storage compartment, 4-hob Ceran hob with fast cooking zones and a dual-circuit frying zone. Of course there is an extractor bonnet. There is also an oven and a dishwasher. Plenty of saucepans, a wok pan, lots of small kitchen utensils, from egg cooker to blender, coffee machine, toaster, kettle: everything is there.
THE SOLID WOODEN DINING TABLE
The dining table is designed for four people. We have added a fifth chair. However, the table can be extended to seat 12 people. The dining table can of course also be used as a children's play table or as a small laptop work station. Sockets for all kinds of devices are therefore provided next to the dining table. Children's drawing pads and dining mats are available. The dining area is designed so that you can bring the food from the kitchen to the table by turning round on its own axis.
THE LIVING AREA
is also part of the great room. However, it is cosily arranged around the corner fireplace. You can see the slim, tall stove standing in a brick corner, from where the flue pipe leads out through the wall to the external stainless steel fireplace. The TV and soundbar are right in front of you, allowing you to watch all the usual channels as well as NETFLIX and Amazon Prime.
The bright, cosy sofa area with a focus on the 40-inch TV (Smart TV, Ultra HD, HDMI, DVB) and the wood-burning stove definitely invites you to relax.
ILLUMINATED
Everything is illuminated by a long light strip that runs through the entire room, with many individual spots that can be aligned as required. Naturally, the spots are divided into zones so that they can only illuminate one part of the large room at a time in its best light.
This lighting track in particular emphasises the loft-like character of the house with its gable height of 4 metres.
BEDROOM
When you arrive, the beds are made for you, so you don't need to bring any bed linen for your holiday week(s).
The two bedrooms are located to the left and right of the bathroom. This guarantees a certain amount of privacy for both rooms. And from both rooms you have the same distance to the toilet, both have a size of 12 m2 each. Both rooms can be darkened with roller blinds.
One room has a double bed, 180cm x 200 cm. The slatted frames are adjustable. Of course there is a bedside table in each room. There is also a large sliding-door wardrobe in which you can safely store everything.
There are two single beds in the other bedroom. Each 90cm x 200cm. Of course, the beds can also be pushed together. Then you have a second double bed.
The bedrooms are accessible without thresholds. All doors have a passage width of 1 metre.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a size of 9m2. It contains:
A generous washbasin, a spacious, separate shower cubicle, a whirlpool bath and the toilet. There is a window in the bathroom, but if you don't want to have a view in or out, you can close the view with a pleated blind. The bathroom door has an unoccupied indicator visible from the outside. Everything in the bathroom is accessible.
The ANNEXES:
The two cubic extensions give the beach house a touch of BAUHAUS. They contain: HOUSE BUSINESS ROOM and WORKSHOP:
UTILITY ROOM
with entrance directly next to the house entrance. The utility room is only accessible from the outside.
The electricity and solar storage centre is also located in the utility room. The meter boxes and toggle switches for switching the electricity on and off are located here. You hardly ever need to use this room unless there is a partial power cut.
You are welcome to use the washer-dryer in consultation with us.
WORK AND STORAGE ROOM
This cubic room is attached to the front of the house. It has only one door to the property on which we live.
This room is entirely reserved for your landlords. It contains equipment, small machine tools and stored items.
However, small repairs to the house are also carried out quickly from this room.
YOUR OWN UTILITY ROOM - THE GARDEN HOUSE
At the front of the lake, next to the swing and behind the footbridge, there is a garden shed. Inside you will find the garden furniture (garden chairs, garden loungers, parasol, electric barbecue.) On shelves you will find a few useful things for your holiday life. You can also store your own equipment here. Your bicycles, inflatable boat, fishing equipment, turtle terrarium, stand-up paddleboard, skates, e-scooter, etc. Next to the garden shed is another terrace made of paving slabs, which can be used as a barbecue area.
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
We have installed a WALLBOX under the Carprot. So you can charge your E-AUTO TYPE 2 with 11 kW directly in front of the house. We can precisely define the electricity costs for your e-car using an integrated electricity meter. The electricity consumed is billed at the end of your stay with the house electricity.
ENERGY CONSUMPTION - GENERATION - EFFICIENCY - CHARGES
The wooden house is a low-energy house, optimally insulated. You heat with electricity or with the wood-burning stove. The electric heating consists of very economical infrared radiators, which can be regulated as required via a thermostat. (Instructions for everything can be found in the house).
We have installed a photovoltaic system on the roof, which captures the "solar energy". We feed in some of the solar power, but have also had a small storage unit since 2024. We obtain the remaining electricity from GREEN-PLANET-ENERGY.
This combination is a small contribution to the topic of "renewable energies", which we believe in.
Your ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION / WATER / WATER CONSUMPTION
can be read via the meters. However, we have decided not to bill you for electricity and water according to consumption, but to integrate an average into the daily rental price.
HEATING
In the cooler months we heat the house with infrared heaters. This always provides a nice, healthy basic warmth. Infrared heaters generate radiant heat. This heat is comparable to the warmth of sunlight. The infrared radiation penetrates solid bodies, from where it can be emitted again. In this way, we keep the house at a basic temperature in winter, the wooden walls can absorb the heat and radiate it back into the house.
The Danish KAMINOFEN
also heats up the entire house quickly. The heat is pleasant, the fire cosy and consumption is lower. If you would like to have wood for the stove in the house, let us know when you call us a week before your arrival. We will provide you with the wood and charge you a favourable price. On the other hand, you can buy wood for your own use at any discount store.
