'Absolutely loved this little cabin! Booked it for my birthday weekend for a little reading retreat and it was the best decision ever. The weather was overcast and raining the whole time but we were loving it. The land and trees are breathtaking, the cabin is perfect for 4 and had everything we needed. 'My husband and I went to Oklahoma to see our daughter who recently moved there and her new husband. Two of our grandsons from Nashville stayed with us in the cabin. We enjoyed our stay and liked the cabin. The road is pretty bad but we managed. The rental car place didn’t have a vehicle available with clearance but we were able to get up there without an issue. 'Uncle Joe's Cabin retreat provides an opportunity to leave the stress of the city to enjoy nature. A short walk takes you to the creek. A short drive takes you to pastures with cows, goats, horses and donkeys. The cabin is well-equipped. When a rare problem arises, it is fixed in minutes, not hours or days. The view is exceptional. 'This property is perfect for a weekend to literally "get away" from it. There is not much close by, so take stuff to cook on the grill. The kitchen is small but manageable with some necessities in there like cookware and dishware and a convection oven that I baked a whole birthday cake in. A great place to hide from reality for a few days if you're into quiet and seclusion. We really liked it.'

'We loved that this was an "off the grid" stay. It is on beautiful land and we loved seeing the farm animals and wildlife, plus the onsite dog is amazing!!! My favorite thing about this stay was being able to look at the night sky and see all the stars above with such ease. It was beautiful. Highly recommend if you enjoy being outdoors.'

'The view from the house was unparalleled open sky. The valley opens below you with a river running through it, complete with cows and goats grazing in the distance. We came for the solar eclipse 2024, but the night sky without any light pollution, was equally spectacular. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had many sports activities for entertainment. We loved our stay and would like to come back and stay longer.'

'The communication from the host was great. Very informative about everything. The cabin was so peaceful. You can sit outside and hear the sounds of nature without the background noise of a city. You might hear a car or two go by, but the road isnt traveled often, so it was so nice. Its not far from Hochatown either if you need to go into town. The cabin was clean and so cozy. It had everything you would need, as if you were at home. We will be back. The quietness was the best part.'
