Negatief: Netheid
We arrived late in the evening to a filthy condo. I texted the host and he offered to come over and clean it in 30 min. I declined, it was late and we were tired, and we were 2 women who did not feel safe having an unknown man come to the condo at 10 PM. Missed his message the next morning but allowed him to come that afternoon to clean. We sent photos of all that needed to be addressed: dirty floors, unchanged bedding, dirty floor and walls around beds, heating vents, bathroom vanity all filthy with longtime dirt, black mold under the kitchen sink. Screen door wouldn't shut and sliding door had no block to prevent unwanted entry. All pillows were old and heavy, no wash cloths, and kitchen was dirty, not 'well appointed' as described in listing and leftover open spaghetti box and syrup bottle in cabinet. After he came, we photographed again the above mentioned items that did not get cleaned or corrected. He did bring 2 new pillows (for a 3 bedroom condo) and did do some cleaning like the floors and heating vents (thus 2 stars instead of 1) but did not clean around the beds, the bathroom vanity and the black mold remained in the kitchen. Screen and sliding door remained the same. He maintained "I did not allow him to help me". He had an opportunity to clean and fix all the issues but did not. After daily phone calls to VRBO and texts to the host, we gave up, had to seek another place to stay for the remainder. I have a 5 star guest rating and never had such a poor experience.
