Not a 4 star hotel!
Unfriendly staff, no airco in bedroom, a tiny shower where we could hardly move. Nice pool. Not a quiet location- next to road.

Pachtig hotel met riant uitzicht.
Mooie grote kamers. Inrichting iets verouderd en niet echt gezellig. Helaas geen ligbad in badkamer. Ontbijt perfect.

We loved our recent stay at this property! I stayed with my partner on a part of our trip to Italy. The villa is quiet, and it was so fun to stay in an old villa that had been converted to small villas. We never heard our neighbours, and though there were several people staying at the same time it felt very private. Our room was comfortable. We did have a jacuzzi in our room, the only downside which we did not realize the first night is that you have to fill it up, which took about 30 minutes so took some extra planning but was perfect for our second night. The restaurant on the property was absolutely delicious and one of our favourite meals. Breakfast was delivered in a very cute box to our room. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely stay!

Old world charm
The charm and architecture of these old world buildings was a special treat. The countryside was idyllic. Staying there is a different world for those used to western, industrialized cultures. And I appreciated that very much. Check-in receptionists were very friendly and helpful. One of them, Daniela, even offered me a ride to my destination a few kilometers up the road. I was asking about taxis, and for later a time at which she was leaving to go home. I really appreciated that generosity.

A bit like an episode of faulty towers. The staff seemed flustered and communication was very poor. The apartment was not at all as advertised and the member of staff couldn’t even get the door to unlock or lock again. They bought us a can of WD40 to spray into the keyhole and left it on our doorstep to use every time we needed to get in or out of the door. The air conditioning was broken which they didn’t bother to let us know despite it being 35-38 degrees during our stay. The apartment itself was dark and gloomy, which wasn’t helped when we had to draw the curtains during the day so people walking by couldn’t see straight into the bedroom when changing. There were squashed bugs on a couple of the walls and there was a small lizard running around in the bed linen. Despite having a restaurant on site there is no option to go for a normal breakfast and they don’t offer lunch there either. The pool water was quite dirty and the pool area was poorly kept with some patio tiles which flipped up as you stepped on them and un-mowen grass areas. The sun beds were old and didn’t fold flat and each room was allocated 2 beds in a designated area away from the pool. The whole experience was not one we would want to have again.

We had a great time for our honeymoon in Tuscany. We had dinner twice at their restaurant and the food was delicious! We also used their breakfast box which was great!

First, this is a renovated Abbey from the year 1263. It is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are large and most have great views of the surrounding area. Staff was very helpful (Patty and Danielle). Central location in the Trequanda region of Tuscany, but must have a car. Great restaurants, groceries, and other services in nearby Sinalunga. Also close to Montepulciano, Pienza, Montissi and Montalcino. We highly recommend this place.

Servizio pessimo
Purtroppo l'impossibilità di fare colazione presso la struttura penalizza il mio giudizio. L'hotel effettua un servizio di colazione in camera molto deludente, sia per qualità che per varietà di prodotti offerti. E' impensabile comunque aver previsto un servizio di colazione in camera senza che la camera disponga di un tavolo. Il tavolo per fare colazione è presente all'esterno e sinceramente a d'inverno non è tanto piacevole fare colazione la mattina presto all'aperto. Peccato, un posto incantevole.

Absolutely idyllic and magical property. Serene and quiet, away from civilization tucked away in the mountains of Trequanda. Perhaps one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at, not just in Italy, not just in Europe, but in the entire world. Definitely recommend a room with a jacuzzi and sauna, that is the moneymaker right there. The restaurant onsite is world class as well. All in all, 5 out of 5 stars, actually make it 6 out of 5. Definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Das Frühstück wurde leider abgepackt und ohne Milch gebracht auf das Zimmer. In den Bildern der Unterkunft wird dies als reichhaltig mit frischem Gebäck präsentiert. Dies war enttäuschend. Leider kann man auch nicht am Pool liegen, da die Liegemöbel weiter weg auf einer Wiese stehen, das fanden wir umständlich.

Abbadia Sicille is a delightful, gorgeous property, quiet and scenic and tranquil. The accommodations were huge, making it feel much more like we were staying in our own country cottage than a hotel. The on-site restaurant is lovely as well. Fabulous!

Bellissima struttura. Abbiamo alloggiato nella royal suite con vasca idromassaggio nel piano soppalcato. Ambienti ampi, pulitissimi e con riscaldamento autonomo. Peccato perdersi nelle sciocchezze: no crema idratante, no accappatoi e ciabattine. Colazione pagata a parte 12 euro a persona per 2 fette biscottate, 1 tramezzino, lo yogurth del discount e poco altro e....il caffè in più da pagare a parte per la cialda Lavazza!!! Il ristorante annesso è buono ma con prezzi esagerati: 1 fetta di fungo porcino arrosto 9 euro! Giriamo spesso e quando paghi abbastanza per la camera, non ti aspetti altre "legnate". ....La colazione è servita in camera per il covid, ma non per questo deve essere così misera o almeno non a questo prezzo! Consiglio la struttura, ma visto che c'è una cucina ci si può organizzare, almeno per la colazione. Buono la mezza bottiglia di prosecco offerta ed il biscotto.

Struttura molto bella e suggestiva, camera spaziosa (suite) ma non eccezionale per il prezzo; colazione esageratamente cara (aggiungere 10€ persona) per quanto poco offerto. Alcuni disguidi, tra cui idromassaggio non funzionante per un giorno perchè perdeva del pavimento (in realtà bastava girare una manopola, ma non me lo hanno saputo dire quando interpellati), e zero gesti di scuse dalla struttura nonostante le mie ripetute osservazioni...bastava poco. Ristorante invece ottimo

El sitio bonito,tranquilo y silencioso. Personal decepcionante. Nos alojaron en unas habitaciones bastantes alejadas de recepción donde no teniamos ni cobertura ni funcionaba el wifi.El baño sucio,sobretodo el plato de ducha,lo mismo del menaje de cocina. Poca intimidad porque desde fuera se puede ver cómo te duchas. Comentamos todo esto en recepción y no les importo en absoluto. Si no dispones de ciertas comodidades que ofreces por la web,al menos deberia recompensar al cliente. No lo recomiendo.

The property is absolutely stunning. It is like you are stepping right into a fairy tale. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant at the hotel was one of the best meals I had in Italy. They also have full kitchens if you want to make your own meals, which we did one night. They have the basics like plates, silverware etc. Just make sure to get some extras like napkins, seasoning and soap to clean up afterwards. There is WiFi but it’s spotty.

L’accueil n’etait pas sympathique. Pas d’accompagnement aux chambres. Et surtout ce n’est pas du tout en correspondance avec ce qui était décrit sur le site. Il s’agit d’un Agro-turismo et non un hôtel. Le style ressemble à un gîte. La salle de bain est rustique comme le reste.

Overall the place was nice and relaxing. We had a hard time finding the check in at first. The restaurant wasn’t open both nights we were there. There was no ac just a fan.
