Buckhorn Family weekend

Great place to stay for multigenerational group. Large private home with great sleeping arrangements. Access to the water and beach was great. Awesome fire pit and gam3s room.

Family fishing trip

We rented this amazing cottage for a family fishing trip. It’s clean, spacious, well stocked - and the many bathrooms were much appreciated! Hot tub and fire pit by the lake were great after our days out on the lake fishing (which was fantastic). We’re definitely coming back next year- this place had everything we needed - and much more.

Annual Friends Bike Trip

We had a wonderful time for our group of 11 people. Despite a day of rain, we enjoyed the pool table, games, hot tub and ability to just relax in a wonderful setting. When the sun came out we hit the bike trails in the Kawarthas and then came back to kayak, swim, and continue to relax. Kitchen allowed us to easily get our meals prepared, bedrooms were comfortable, and there were many areas in and out of the house to relax and catch up with good friends.

Property was amazing. Owner was fast at responding to my messages. Lots of parking, kitchen set up was perfect with the double dish washers and oven was clutch! Easy to get to if you follow owners directions. Only thing that would have made this place a 10/10 would been having more essential house hold items.(paper towels, trash bags)

Great property

Clean and well equipped cottage. The communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed the many decks to hang out on. The times when it does rain you have pool, shuffleboard etc to play. Plus the bottom deck is covered. Good fishing. Only thing I’d say is bring water shoes. It’s shallow with some rocks and weds etc. Would recommend.

Perfect Christmas

There were 10 family members renting this property ranging from 5 years old to 77. There were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, plus there was a large game room which got plenty of use. The large kitchen, double oven and two dishwashers make it easy to take care of large group meals and clean-up. A highlight was the snowfall and subsequent tobogganing(supplied by the host). Especially for the Australians in the family We were very relieved to be allowed in a day early since the day we’re supposed to arrive was a huge blizzard. The host was most helpful and accommodating.

Looks nice but not the best construction

The place looks nice but the showers have no water pressure and dribbles down, the sink faucets discharge water at the edge of the sink so washing your hands is uncomfortable. Also in the upstairs shower, the hot and cold labels should be switched because when you turn it to hot cold water comes out and vice versa.

Amazing getaway, beautiful location

My family and I had an amazing time at the cottage. The place is huge and there was lots of room for my group of 8. The kitchen is fantastic and the beds are big and comfortable. Favorites were, kitchen, large dinning table for games, the ice rink on the lake, and hikes. Some things to mention.... there is a very strong rotten egg smell in the water, it’s not suitable for drinking and makes dishes and showers an avoided task. I would recommend bringing lots of bottled water. There is also filtered water in the fridge but it fills very slow. The games room is very fun, where we spent most of our time, however the item are really starting to show their age. Pool table is the best but is far from level. Air hockey was playable but very wobbly table and puck sticks to boards where pieces have broken off. These negatives did not make for a miserable stay, just things to be aware of. The water was the biggest issue. If we hadn’t brought 2 cases and had my daughter bring up some jugs it would have been worse. Overall a great trip, will probably try somewhere else next time.

Amazing stay in Paradisd

Such a beautiful property with wonderful space. The private beach volleyball court is an absolute plus. Upper deck is very spacious for large groups and all 3 floors very well maintained. Would recommend anytime for anyone especially a large group. This is truly a one of a kind property

Winter Wonderland Retreat

Great Family Get-away
