Enjoy the Best of Both Worlds on Beautiful Silver Lake

This 1700 square foot, year round family home has plenty of room plus a walk out basement. There is 65 feet of sandy lake frontage on Silver Lake with a gradual slope that is great for swimming. There is a stone patio with fire pit for lounging and a dock for your boat. Silver Lake is spring fed and is great for jet skis, tubing, water skiing, swimming and fishing.


Amenities & Activities: Air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet, full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils provided, linens provided, washer and dryer, gas grill (BBQ), no smoking, no pets and no use of fireplace.
Swimming, boating, shopping at Grand Traverse Mall, jet skiing, golf, sea plane rides on lake, tennis.

Area: 15 minutes from Traverse City, 10 minutes to Interlochen Academy
Weekly rentals only June, July , August.
Weekly rentals start on Saturday to Saturday.
If you need to cancel I will immediately re-rent and if I get the booking amount you will be refunded that amount. If I get a lesser amount due to short time to arrival you will get that amount.
I will absorb the credit card fee on the initial booking. The second payment is by check directly to me or pay the three percent credit card fee second payment.

The pictures of the outdoor space do not do it justice. You have a picture perfect view of the lake from most places in and outside the home. The space was great for a family weekend! Kitchen had all the necessities and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of sleeping space. It is out the perfect distance from downtown. At the house, you feel like you are on a serene vacation away from the city but a quick drive and you can be anywhere in Traverse City. We would definitely stay again as the host was prompt to respond and addressed all questions/concerns we had!

Nice property

This was centrally located for my family in upper Michigan and Ohio to travel too. It was easy to find and Glenley place to stay. There was plenty of room for all of us with extra space. The host was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again.

Best Firepit on Silver Lake

Great location and property. Very easy to work with the owners and the house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Used the kayaks every day and had a fire each night in the firepit overlooking the lake. Can't say enough great things about the house and location. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

Wow!!! What an amazing place!!

We booked for the weekend for our daughters wedding. When we arrived we were in absolute awe of the view and the home. If you're looking for a negative about this place, its that you have to leave. We wanted to stay and enjoy everything! The house was so clean and eveything was right there. Wow. Wow wow. Is all I can say.

Great stay near Traverse City

We had a great stay at this property near Traverse City. It accommodated our group 11 (6 adults / 5 kids) great! Being right on the lake (and having kayaks available for use) was fantastic. Kitchen was well-stocked. Communication and logistics were a breeze. The only nit we would have is that the basement (where one of the bedrooms is) was quite cold, and there was no way to turn back the air conditioner down there. Despite that, we would still definitely recommend this place!

Great house on the lake!

Stayed at this property over the memorial day weekend. The house has everything you need. The lake is beautiful. Beautiful backyard with fire pit kayaks, dock everything you need for vacation. Would stay there again. Richard is very helpful and always available.
