Step inside and you'll feel instantly at home. The welcoming entrance hall sets the tone, featuring a unique display of old keys mounted on a piece of 14th century oak. The heart of the home is a generous country kitchen, complete with a gas Rayburn and modern appliances, ideal for preparing hearty breakfasts or evening feasts. The conservatory offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it the perfect spot to watch the changing light over the fields, whatever the weather.
The cosy sitting room, bathed in natural light, leads through patio doors to the garden, while a practical utility room ensures everything you need is close to hand. Every room showcases the craftsmanship of the owner, a talented carpenter, from a kitchen island made from a locally sourced chestnut tree to windows salvaged from Dartmouth’s Lower Ferry.
Ritson Farm sleeps up to ten guests in comfort, offering flexible sleeping arrangements across five bedrooms. One double bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor with its own ensuite. Upstairs, you'll find one king, two double bedrooms, and a spacious room that can be set up as either a super king or twin, perfect for children or friends sharing. Whether you're travelling with extended family or a group of friends, the layout works beautifully for all ages.
The large garden is one of the highlights of this property. With a spacious patio, BBQ, and outdoor dining area for ten, it's made for alfresco summer meals. Private parking for up to four cars as well as an EV charging point. Please note, you would have to supply your own charging cable and there is an honesty box to leave money towards the use of the electricity.
