The modern, new apartment with wooden floors is located in a quiet, well kept condominium. It can accommodate up to 4 people and is situated slightly above Toscolano-Maderno with an almost all-round panoramic view across Lake Garda - from the east coast to Sirmione and the Isola del Garda and the Bay of Salo. The apartment has a large covered loggia with fantastic views over the peninsula Toscolano-Maderno Lake Garda - on which you can already enjoy breakfast in the morning sun - and a bedroom with a balcony overlooking the hills and (mountain) Pizzocolo. Sheets, towels, kitchen towels and consumable costs (electricity, gas, water) are included in the rent. From the bright and cozy living and dining room you can enjoy the view across Lake Garda. The big sofa is transformed with a few simple steps into a big and comfortable bed (200 cm x180 cm). The master bedroom with balcony has a large double bed (160 x 200) with bedside tables, a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The daylight-bathroom has a shower and toilet as well as a bidet and a washing machine. There is also a large infinity pool, from which you can even enjoy - while swimming - the astonishing lake view. Two private lounge chairs invite you to relax on the pool terrace. The car is parked safely in the garage from which you can go up directly via staircase to the apartment. There are a lot of hiking and walking trails that offer also spectacular views and it is not far. The hills and mountains around Toscolano-Maderno are part of the natural park "Parco dell`Alto Garda", which stretches along the western shore from Salo to Limone. The famous Paper Mill Valley (Valle delle cartiere) is also very close. There are two footpaths "down" to the City Center of Toscolano which you can reach by foot in about 15 minutes, one of those walking paths directly leads to the Lake Garda with free beach and a nice beach restaurant / cafe / bar next to the historic church of Toscolano and the Roman excavations. The other way down ends approximately in the middle of the village - a place that has retained its Italian flair off the beaten track. In the historic part of Toscolano-Maderno little pitouresque squares and narrow, winding streets invite you to stroll around and the numerous cafes, bistros, "osterias" and restaurants to linger and enjoy the Italian way of life. The newer district is located on a semicircular peninsula, so the place has a very extensive sea front, with numerous - and free (!!!) - bathing possibilities, many bars, cafes, "cream parlors" , gelaterias along the lake front. The place has an excellent infrastructure. There are several supermarkets with fresh food counters. Every Thursday there is a weekly market. There are doctors and several pharmacies. ATMs are also available. The (car) ferry runs regulary to the East Coast. There are also numerous boat connections to other locations on the lake. Bicycle rentals and boat rentals are also available. Because of its central location on the west bank Toscolano-Maderno is an ideal starting point for excursions around the Garda Lake and beyond.
