Aanrader!
Goede ligging, vlakbij ingang Capitol Reef NP. Moderne kamers. Tof zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. 's Nachts is de sterrenhemel te bewonderen vanop het skydeck.

cely unkept. Personnel nice. Outside grounds were fun annd inviting. Older HVAC is a bit loud but fine. Surprised there wasn’t fruit or muffins for breakfast and you had to buy it. Only three pillows on a queen bed.

We had a good stay, and enjoyed the hot tub, very relaxing. The service was good, however, we arrived at a busy time, looks like they need more staff so that the response time can be quicker. Regards!

The coffee in the lobby and the always available apples were great. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Now the "however". Checking in a 3:30 (early!), we asked for a first floor room. The young clerk said they had none available. I asked if they could switch out a room with someone who had not checked in yet and she said those rooms were already assigned. (I have had other hotels in the area do that for me) Since we are 90 and 82 years old, we asked for a convenient 2nd floor room. She gave us room 223A in the west wind. Only two rooms were further from the entrance and it was a HIKE. I have stayed in 3000 room Las Vegas hotels with long walks to the room, but this was longer. She said, "we have an elevator". Well, that elevator would win the "slowest elevator in the world" contest hands-down...and it only serviced two floors! The restaurant looked nice but the two times we tried to get breakfast, it was obvious they were understaffed, We waited to get seated and waited and waited finally the harried waitress said "please seat yourself". It took an abnormally long time to get a menu and it was again obvious the single person trying to act as hostess and waitress was not able to keep up. How long it would take to get an order was never determined since we needed to get on the road, so we left.

Clean and quiet. Nice job updating an older hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to Capital Reef NP. Bed was of the foam, latex type so a little soft and hot for my husband and I.

There aren't many choices in Torrey, UT and Red Sands appeared to be one of the better options. The photographs online were apparently not recent, and my impression of the hotel is that it could use some updating, but overall, it was adequate. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were courteous and helpful. It was somewhat disappointing that breakfast was not complimentary, however, there is a restaurant on site in which one can order breakfast.

Water pressure is shower was weak, to go utensils were the cheapest you can buy. Made eating my expensive take out food. Very difficult to eat, bed was very comfortable

It is a nice hotel perfectly located next to Capitol reef park - my frustration was based on the fact that there was a steam room listed in the amenities of the hotel, but in reality steam room is only a part of SPA and an extra pay by appointment. Otherwise everything is good

Place looks old inside. Roadside rooms have a lot of traffic noise with view of the road and traffic. Nice and friendly staff. Restaurant at the hotel is not great.

Nice, clean hotel. Room was large, well furnished, and well equipped. The only negative was the restaurant where the service was terrible. Took 15 minutes to be seated and then another 15 minutes before a server came by. That server spoke little English and never returned. Also a very limited menu.
