Location, location, location!

If you are looking for a one night visit for two, right on the beach with amazing views, pet-friendly, in the highly desirable Topsail Beach location - you’ve found it! Finding a spot with all of these attributes are few and far between. Quaint, old-school motel vibe that could use some upgrades, but clean!

The PM is very nice. Beautiful ocean views and loved the deck. Not very clean, bathroom is so small, one side of the bathtub doesn’t even open. Small gap by front door is letting water bugs in at night. We are not smokers and while there are signs posted on decks stating no smoking, the guests staying just south of our room were out there smoking all night. Disgusting. All you can smell. We wanted to enjoy the salt air. We reserved 2 nights, and left after one night.

On the beach...great sunrise views. The room was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony. Great to be able to have our dog stay with us.

It was a very good place for our party (2 senior citizens and a dog). We booked the room for a week, but left two days early because Hurricane Ian was coming. Nice size for small party. Fridge is nice. Not very practical for cooking or serving meals as is. But otherwise, very comfortable. Nice balcony view and seclusion for sitting.

We enjoyed our stay. The check in process is a little different. You are not allowed to go into the office but noone tells you that. Also, the checkout procedure is not explained either. I emailed the day before to get information on our stay; however, I was not contacted until 2-3 hrs before check-in. I was thinking we were scammed but luckily we're not. The room was pretty clean which was nice. The weather was not the best but noone can control that. We will return.

We booked a room at Sea Vista for a quick beach trip over Labor Day weekend, after reading the positive reviews here on VRBO. After our stay, we agree with the reviews: don’t let the word motel scare you off. Sea Vista was clean, comfortable, family friendly, very dog friendly, great oceanfront location, nice shower, comfortable beds, nice balcony with ample space and seating, good AC and TV. Is it modern and spacious? No, but we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay for a long weekend.

Relaxing stay with an amazing view

The Sea Vista room 214 was just what a family of four needed. The deck facing the beach was a joy to sit and watch the people and waves, or storms depending on the day. Our little dog Tilly really appreciated being with us. This place is not near any restaurants or grocery stores so be prepared to cook and have plenty of snacks on hand. Has a good sized fridge and a microwave.

Exceeded our Expectations

I will say I was nervous about staying at a motel. I always pictured a motel as "old, ran down, with dirty rooms, and 40 year old mattresses" I quickly learned my ideas of what a "motel means" My party consisted of 8 people in 2 rooms. We came to topsail from Pinehurst NC and Columbia Sc to celebrate my son's 17th birthday. Our group ranged from a 4 year old, 17, and 20 year old, 2 40 year old, a 63 year old, a 74 year old and a 83 year old. EVERYONE IS WANTING TO COME BACK ASAP. We enjoyed walking the beach, collecting shells, we ate a AMAZING MEAL at the local BBQ restaurant we left feeling refreshed and blessed to be able to travel and spend time as a family. The room has everything needed for a weekend away. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and WE LOVED IT WAS PET FRIENDLY.

Old but clean

old but clean. Cocimiento located on the beach with beach access. Dog friendly. Good price. If you expect a 5 star resort amenities then stay ina resort. This is just basic for a simple stay on the beach.
