Good price, easy to get to from highway, close to BGSU, great communication from host, ceiling is low in most of the tiny home (would not rent if 5â10â or taller), sleeping couch was in need of repair (an entire corner is sagging)
Great stay, clean and comfortable! Within easy walking distance to the bars, but in a quiet neighborhood. Owner/property manager was very responsive when I needed help. Keep in mind if you're tall, it is a "tiny house": the kitchen ceiling is probably 6'4" or so.
Despite this being in a neighborhood of well kept homes, the homes on this property (maybe a collection of student rentals) are deteriorating. Doors and trim are rotting to the point that sunlight and insects get through. Though all of the frequently used surfaces (sinks, shower, counter) were clean, the place is in need of a deep cleaning. When I moved a table away from the A/C, the wall was falling apart and had many spider sacs and the floor had many dead ants. The blinds and A/C units were sticky and dusty. The furniture was uncomfortable and the sleeper sofa had a huge stain. The listing mentioned the low ceilings but not the tiny awkward steps between each room. What I found most odd was a door in the bedroom with a regular keyed entry. There was no lock that could only be operated from inside. I felt really uncomfortable being on the ground floor alone with a rotting door three feet from the bed and no idea who might have a key. Maybe my expectations were too high for the price, but I could not recommend this place.
This is an incredibly charming little place; the photos do not do justice to it. It's in a great location in a quiet, historic neighborhood near the BGSU campus and walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. The floors are beautiful hardwoods and the decor is great...all is small and cozy, but there is a full kitchen including a dishwasher, and a nice shower in the bathroom. You'll love how they use every cubic inch of space so creatively. It's better if you're not tall, because you'll have to duck a few times between rooms if you are, but you quickly learn. A great use of this unique space. It's just a unique experience. We will gladly stay here again when visiting our student.
Cute place that has everything you need, however only if you are 5â5â. My husband is 6â1â and had to duck while in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Not ideal for a VB Dad, but I guess thatâs why itâs listed as a tiny house.
I wanted a place to stay that my adult son and his girlfriend could come visit me. It was perfect. Having a living room and a well supplied kitchen we were able to cook meals and visit in a comfortable space. Even though they lived close by and didn't stay overnight there was pullout couches available had they wanted too. The king size bed was very comfortable. Tv's in every room and wi-fi were a plus. It was just a short walk to several restaurants. The host was so very accommodating as I got in to town early than expected and so I had an early check in. Everything anybody could need was there. As a single woman I felt safe and secure. Highly recommend
The house is cute with a good location, but a rain storm came through and the master bedroom had taken on water. It got musty inside and I had to sleep on the couch
Nice place to stay. While it was listed as a âtiny homeâ, it gave no indication that the ceilings were so low. As a 6â7â, this was extremely limiting. Most of the place had ceilings that were barely 6â and some were a few inches lower than that evenâŠ.it was especially noticeable in the shower.
LOVED this space! There is nothing "bad" to report, but perhaps some things to keep in mind. If you are over 5'10 or so you will need to duck going from one room to another, perhaps 6 foot or so and your head will touch the ceiling in the kitchen. The entrance is down a narrow but paved walk way for anyone traveling with large roller suitcases. The bed was quite comfortable as well.
