They we're renovating the whole time we were there. They didn't inform us of that when we booked. The breakfast was pathetic and 4 of the 5 nights they only had breakfast for dinner. No main course. The massage spar didn't have anyone who spoke English.

From the moment I stepped into the beautifully remodeled room, I was captivated by the attention to detail and the stunning view overlooking the boardwalk. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, situated in the heart of everything, yet offering a serene escape. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, Talia the public relations manager in particular was extremely helpful and polite. Every request or concern I had was swiftly addressed with a smile, making me feel incredibly well taken care of throughout my stay. Their attentiveness and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. I can confidently say that my time at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel was nothing short of five stars, and I eagerly look forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.

Air-conditioning in both of my rooms were not working. I went downstairs to complain a number of times and it was not repaired. I asked for other rooms, and was not given. So I asked for fans, since my kids were all sweating and my rooms were extremely hot (temperature was close to 100 that day) after begging for a while I got only 1 and later another one, which both were broken as well. (I wish I can post a videos clip from the fans) I needed to gown down late an night to ask for tape so I can do my own repairs. When I was downstairs 2 other guests complaining about the same issue. Not only don’t they have working AC in the rooms, the hallways the common areas are extremely hot as well.

Adequate hotel, unfriendly staff
Good location on lakefront with nice pool area. Rooms clean but a bit tired looking. Breakfast had good choice but hot food was barely warm. Staff however were unhelpful and borderline rude. At check in we were given no information at all about the hotel, breakfast times, pool times etc. I asked about pool times and was told it was open until 7pm but when we went to the pool at 5.50 it was already closed. We had ordered a room with an extra bed, which was not provided and we had to ask for it. We were not given any information about parking and got a ticket and fine on our first day. Lifts were often busy and as well as other rude guests barging in front of us, we even had a staff member push in front of us to get in the lift. Overall hotel was adequate but rude staff would put me off staying with this hotel again.

This property requires some maintenance as the hotel has a smell to it from poor ventilation and aged facilities. Overall this hotel was too busy and noisy for our liking. The facilities were not great and we were not given any notice that certain swim hours are limited to only male or female guests. The breakfast was good.

First of all hotel looks old which we were ok with. The amount of kids you see is crazy. No control during the rest hours. We stayed 3 nights were woken up twice by kids playing soccer in the hallway. Hotel staff doesn’t do anything about it. I wouldn’t consider staying there again.

The staff is beyond amazing!!!! We had the hardest night and couldn’t find a hotel but they were super helpful!! About the cleanliness of the hotel it could use a real upgrade. Not the cleanest hotels I’ve been at, especially at that price bracket.
