Vi var nÄgra fÄ vÀnner som delade pÄ denna enorma villa, sÄ vi fick verkligen plats! Vi har lÄng erfarenhet av ön och ville denna gÄng ha nÄgot som kÀndes som att ha ett eget hus pÄ ön och det gjorde verkligen Villa Alex. OmrÄdet passar oss perfekt och en hyrbil kan parkeras precis utanför dörren. Villan hade allt vi behövde för nÄgra veckors vistelse, sÀrskilt köket. VÀrden var tillgÀnglig de gÄnger vi behövde kontakt, vilket kÀndes tryggt och för oss vÀldigt viktigt.

We stayed in villa Alex for 2 weeks. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and was sad to leave. The villa is huge with everything needed to make it home from home for any family. The pool was cleaned every 3 or 4 days and the kids and myself absolutely loved it . Sunbeds could probably do with a good clean due to lanzarote weather. There are several nearby bats and restaurants and shops . The nearest beach was a 15 minute walk or 5 mins in a very cheap taxi ride. Overall this was an amazing holiday we would love to return here thankyou Alex.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time but Villa Alex. It was spotlessly clean with lots of space both indoors and outdoors. Private pool was great for entertaining the boys, all of whom were adults! Lovely quiet neighbourhood but wouldn't be particularly suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it was a steep climb from the Harbour area but it suited us fine. Supermarket (Spar) and cafe/bar/restaurant (Marios) was all within a short stroll away. Alex was very charming from the very first contact. My only gripe would be that pool towels were not provided until three days before we left so had to keep washing our bath towels but it was only a minor issue and didn't affect our enjoyment of the visit.

We received a warm welcome from Alex. We found the property a little tired in places and would benefit from some TLC. It’s a functional home for 6, we stayed 10 days. The Spar is 100 metres down the road for fresh bread / cold beer etc. Up the hill is La Bamba for nice food and cheap coffees. The bike rental and pharmacy are there too. The bus stop for excursions is just down from the bike rental. Be prepared for a cool pool. 25 degrees takes your breath away however after 5 minutes it’s ok. Some days we didn’t use the pool , it’s just too cool. It would benefit from a dishwasher as we had six guests over breakfast. The location is very quiet with little traffic or neighbour noise. Friendly cats 🐈 enjoyed any leftovers. The bathroom is very basic and would benefit from shelving or storage space for toiletries for 4 people sharing. Overall we enjoyed the stay however we wouldn’t return to this property as we know there’s better out there for the price of 1663 €.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Puerto del Carmen in this spacious, clean charming villa. The location was perfect for us - in a quiet residential street yet only a few minutes walk from a bars and restaurants - the Tapas Tree does delicious breakfasts! Its only 10 -15 minute walk to the harbour with bars and very good restaurants. The pool was great, although if you want it heated tell the owner Alex in advance - there is an extra 50 Euros charge. Alex lives next door and he was very helpful and very good at keeping in touch and answering questions. We would go back again!

We wanted a place that could give us the quiet relaxing vibe during the day, and with the option of going to the New Town whenever we fancied. Alex was the perfect host, with just the right blend of being on hand if needed and giving you the space to feel like this was your home for the duration of your stay. The heated pool was most welcome in the morning, and the good weather took care of the rest of the day. If you're thinking about a stay in Puerto Del Carmen/Tias, then I would highly recommend Villa Alex. Thank you Alex! Rodney & Family.

Lovely villa in a quiet residential street at the old harbour end of Puerto del Carmen. Plenty of space and everything you need for a self catering holiday. Alex the owner was really helpful and sorted out the couple of little issues we had very quickly. Villa very clean. Nice Pool and plenty of sun loungers. Local supermarket, restaurants and a bar are close by. An oven glove would have been useful.

The villa is huge and very nice in a great quiet location close to the old town. Everything that you need for a self catering holiday was provided including towels, pool towels, BBQ, hair dryer iron and board. Alex the owner was lovely. There are a few shops, bars and restaurants close by if you don't fancy going into town. Only two things didn't match the description on the website. Firstly as other reviews have mentioned there is no air-conditioning but fans are provided throughout and as our stay was in November we didn't need these as the villa was lovely and cool. Secondly the pool isn't heated by electricity or solar panels but by the sun. The pool was quite cold but we did use it a few times. I would recommend this Villa and the location to others and would rent the villa again if staying in the area.

The villa was immaculately kept, very comfortably furnished and made for a lovely place to stay for the holiday. Alex was a welcoming and helpful landlord and checked in a couple of times to ensure everything was ok. The villa and sun terrace were very spacious and full of character and comfort. The old harbour and it’s restaurants were 10 mins walk down the hill, the local mini supermarket was 5mins walk away. It was probably one of the nicest villas we have stayed in over the last 15years since we started using HomeAway.

Want to write a comprehensive review and say something other reviews didn't say, but some things need to be repeated such as , OWNER (Alex) very, very helpful and would start by saying would love to stay in house again. Couple issues resolved immediately and had nothing to do with Alex but his maintenance company and once Alex was informed it was dealt with within the hour. Alex lives next door so on hand if assistance needed he couldn't have been nicer. House larger than anticipated and although sleeps 6 could easily manage more. Pool large and heated via sun and with the use of a cover at night. Near a spar and a couple restaurants (spar shuts 9pm for those on late flights, needing necessities) . We availed of taxi services as we personally couldn't manage walk, prices ranged from 3.50 to 5 euro to and from main strip. Airport transfers under e20. Towels changed mid week and again when beds changed half way through stay. Tv and internet service provided. Air conditioning via fans provided for each of rooms and not a AC unit, but sufficient number of fans provided. I think what makes this property better than most is the owners approach in wanting any visitors to enjoy their stay and how nice he is, in addition to how flexible in relation to numbers staying (we had 3 staying during first week and 6 in second) owner charges for night and not by guest which makes it affordable. Would definitely visit again.

Alex was there to great us with a lovely bottle of wine. The villa is very spacious, well laid out ... it really is a home from home and has everything you need, with a good sized pool. Few doors up from the villa is a spar , there’s also a lovely pub The Crafty Cow that does fantastic food and a great pint of Guinness , next door is an amazing Italian restaurant that also does take out for the nights in. Short walk down the harbour front to the old town there’s lots of lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. No streams of people trying to drag you into places and no getting harassed from lucky lucky men. Just returned from a stay in this Villa. Alex was really great, responding to all emails really quickly. The villa is really well appointed on a very quiet street and a lovely private swimming pool area. Inside is very spacious and well equipped. It is close to all that the old town of Puerto Del Carmen has to offer and there is a really well stocked spar shop just a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely visit again.

From the start Alex the owner was there to greet us nice touch fruit and bottle of wine to start our holidays, villa was very spacious clean and tidy. The location was perfect and close to the shopping center and numerous restaurants and bars and also within easy reach of the harbour and the main strip. Would be perfect for families or a group together would recommend to anyone that asks us thanks again
