The Atalaya apartment Vista Mar is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located in the Atalaya complex close to the beach with stunning sea views, air conditioning, wifi & satellite TV. We accept payments in Euros or in Pounds.

This excellent value, bright and airy two bedroom ground floor apartment with one en-suite and one family bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen has free Wifi, Satellite TV with UK channels, a book cupboard and a wonderful panoramic view of the ocean.

Located in the popular and peaceful Atalaya complex in Puerto del Carmen it has full sun all day yet a shady terrace on which to sit and relax and enjoy the views and your holiday. Situated in a quiet location it is close to sandy beaches and the Promenade where a huge variety of bars , restaurants and entertainment can be found to suit all tastes ranging from tranquil sea view restaurants to tapas bars with spanish music to bars with live singers and live bands.

The apartment is only 10 minutes from the airport and will appeal to couples or families looking for a comfortable base from which to enjoy the island of Lanzarote. The complex is gated and can only be accessed with a key, so is therefore very secure.

Within the complex there is a large swimming pool and a separate children´s pool. Although the apartment is located on the top level of the Atalaya complex which has steps at the front entrance , the best access is via the back gate, where there is flat access to arrive by taxi without any steps and is much more suitable for suitcases, push chairs and shopping.

There are two excellent supermarkets very close by and the island enjoys an excellent but inexpensive car hire, bus and taxi service to explore the Spanish towns and culture of Lanzarote and its many tourist attractions for both adults and children.

Good local hospitals, doctors surgeries and a dialysis centre are all close to the apartment.

Fijn appartement, dichtbij zee maar rustig

Twee slaapkamers, twee badkamers. Oceaanzicht vanaf zonnige patio (ochtend, middag). Minder dan tien minuten lopen naar strand, boulevard, bushalte en taxi. Kwartiertje met taxi naar vliegveld. Beheerder Vicky is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, reageert altijd binnen een paar uur op mails.

A happy holiday!

Apartment was well equipped, especially the addition of beach towels and ice blocks, but we felt it was a little small for 3 adults. Air-con didn’t work to it’s maximum potential as the weather was so hot, but we were able to leave the windows open during the night. We had a few issues with the wifi, but Vicky was on the case and it was sorted. Complex was great, very clean and well maintained. Pool was a good size and refreshing in the heat, but there were many broken sun-beds and hardly any shade. However, it was in a perfect location as it was an ideal distance to the supermarket, beach, bars and restaurants. We had a brilliant holiday and we would definitely recommend this apartment. Thanks Vicky 🙂

Loved the apartment

This was my 5th stay here. Perfectly clean Always. A home from home everything you need. Not the biggest of apartments. But beautiful sea view from the terrace and fabulous new pool. Close to beeches shops, bars and returant. Quiet and idyllic complex. Will be coming again.

Sadly not very good review. Appt not very clean . Ok beds but very uncomfortable sofa. No tele for 2 days. Appt in need of TLC, very cracked walls, doors don’t fit . Very limited cutlery etc . Dirty washing up implements, glad we took our own new ones. So sorry to give bad review

Excellent apartment in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our week of winter sun in this delightful apartment. Great views and well equipped the apartment is ideal for lazing around by the pool and there is a huge number of really good restaurants all in close proximity to the location. Highly recommended.

clean complex 10 mins to the beach

the complex has access from the back gate on the level or up stairs from the front. the apartment has a south facing patio with sun all day and a sea view, one bedroom has a small ensuite and the other bedroom can use the main full sized bathroom. There is a washing machine and full oven and tv with all UK channels. The Wi-Fi is great. Its a 10-15 mins walk to the beach and main strip down a fairly steep hill if you have mobility problems. 2 supermarkets close by and a UK doctors clinic on the strip. Very friendly guests on the complex who we met at the pool which has sunbeds and parasol stands. Vicky was very available and fixed a leak in the bathroom and organized our transfer to the airport. It could have done with a few more pans but we stayed for a month so didn't eat out all the time.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment which was south facing so always warm. Great sea views from the apartment. Easy check in and Vicky and Oscar were helpful. Good location for supermarkets and only short walk to lovely beaches and the strip. The apartment suited us well and in a quiet location so there was no noise from the strip. Superb wifi and great to have English TV.

Ocean views

As soon as our bags were unpacked we felt at home in this cosy private hide away. With stunning ocean views over white stucco rooftops surrounded by many palm trees in a beatiful part of Porto del Carmen. The whole complex and the pool is clean and everyone is super friendly. Very handy having the supermarket right next door and the best secluded little beaches a stones throw away. Excellent holiday home, whish we could have stayed an extra week.

We loved our time at this property. Vicky was amazing to deal with and even arranged for transportation back to the airport. The location was great for restaurants and beach access. There is a car rental next door, so it was a snap to get out and explore the island. We will definitely be back!!

Great apartment and location

Good sized apartment with plenty of room for my friend and I to relax and enjoy our holiday. Well equipped kitchen and living space, if the weather does not work in your favour then plenty to keep you entertained with good selection of channels on the TV, lots of DVDs, books, etc. Well placed for getting provisions, there is the Spar down the dreaded steps at the front of the property though it is good exercise and loved the challenge. For easier route, out the back gate and turn left, there a smaller but well stocked shop on the corner. Lovely swimming pool, reasonably quiet as well so felt like a private pool. Great location as a few minutes walk to parade of shops and bars, this is my favourite end of the front, less hassle, great restaurants and bars, especially Mojito Tex Mex which had the best chilli. Overall very good, would recommend.

Lovely apartment

This was a lovely quiet place to stay considering how busy it was in the town!! Second bedroom was a little snug for two adults sharing but we felt completely safe at all times with the locked gates. Never a lack of hot water even on cloudy days!! The whole booking process was very simple and Vicky could not have been more helpful. Even a left bag in the cab from the airport was tracked down by her and delivered incredibly quickly back to the apartment. Pool was freezing but it was only the beginning of May so not much time to heat up yet! Location was perfect for the bars and restaurants and the beach. Everywhere was easy to walk to. Would definitely recommend.

Clean and well equipped. Had everything you could want

Nice quiet position. Only drawback are the steps leading down to Calle Pedro Barba. Ok, there is a back entrance which is on same level as apartment but if you want to go to Spar supermarket then the dreaded steps are only option.
