'Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.'

'We visited Gettysburg and stayed at this property which is about 30 minutes from the National Historical Park. After a long day of walking and touring the Battlefield it was nice to come back to this property and have a nice peaceful evening. The house is secluded and in a very quiet area. 'The Wrightsville cabin is beautiful, as are the grounds. We greatly enjoyed our stay there. There is a pleasant walking trail across the street leading to a scenic overlook on the Susquehanna River. I would like to return with my wife sometime.'

'If we could give more stars we would! We can’t say enough about our stay from being so accommodating to the fresh milk, strawberries, eggs and beautiful bouquet of flowers that were left for us. The property was immaculate. The surroundings and yard are serene, private and post card perfect! We even were lucky enough to have a foal born when we were staying there. We would recommend this property to everyone! '

'This was our 4th time staying at this property, and it truly gets better each time! The house itself is welcoming and immaculate, with a wonderful set up to allow easy pool access. The pool itself is incredible. Surrounded by fields, it is so so peaceful and relaxing, you truly feel like you're away from it all . My kids swam for hours, only taking a break to enjoy the tennis and basketball court! The owners were unbelievably responsive, even driving over to bring us something we asked about....
