'I liked the privacy option of one being able to request housekeeping. However there were a couple of times they entered and once while I was in room. It was not a bother to me and not intrusive. I wish I had had a privacy card for my door. OTHERWISE EXCELLENT STAY. Also wish there had been an ATM or a barcode my for tipping the housekeeping staff.'

'Het hotel ligt niet alleen aan een drukke weg met vrachtverkeer, maar 's avonds toeteren de treinen bij de overgang ook nog eens erg hard en lang. Je moet dus wel een goede slaper zijn om hier lekker te kunnen overnachten. Wij hadden een kamer voor 3 personen geboekt, maar er stond maar 1 bed en kon geen stretcher worden bijgeplaatst. We moesten ter plekke dus bijbetalen voor een upgrade naar een kamer met 2 bedden.'

'I travel all over the world. The Londonderry and the Napoleon Suite in particular stand out in a way most places fail to. It was an absolute exquisite stay, enhanced by the cinversations over breakfast with the property's hosts and other travelers. We will find reasons to go Lancaster from now on just to stay at the Londonderry again.'

'Kamer was smoezelig de lakens van de vorige gasten lagen op bed met make-up vlekken en haren. Vet vlekken op sprei. Gaten in de deken. Vloertapijt was kapot. Ontbijt zonder toast of brood. Conclusie, Slecht hotel.'

The owners are super friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts delicious and the overall decor with its classic cozy cottage setting is all the whimsy one could ask for! 'Honestly love this hotel. I cannot say enough about how amazing it always is to stay here. I regularly use this hotel for Shore Leave, the Penn Ren Faire, and other events in the Lancaster area. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is amazingly helpful. The attached restaurant is a great place to eat and have quiet meetings, or enjoy the social setting at the bar.'
