'Super friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful location. Dog friendly and convenient for walks from the hotel with access to Sheringham Park. The food was excellent, but not always consistent - I had sea bass on one day which was so delicious (and as described in the menu) that I decided to have it again on my last night, but it was no where near as good - missing the chives in the mash, the dill sauce on the fish and not served with peas all as described in the menu....
'Just what you would expect from a seaside hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful we had a great evening meal, that we were not disappointed with. This was great as we really did fancy fish and chips sat beside the sea wall !! The room was well stocked with tea, water, biscuits and good to see plenty of the individual milk containers.
The breakfast was up there with the best all freshly cooked and hot.'
'Lovely overnight stay. Wished we could’ve stayed longer. Looks like they have refurbished the bar and restaurant now need to do the rooms which are a little dated. Loved the welcome breakfast hamper with fresh milk in a fridge. '
'The hotel had a bit of character and was well located for access to the coast and nearby sights. Our room was large and comfortable with a table and chairs, plenty of storage space. The grounds were a good size, well maintained and great for sitting outside. Dinner was very good in a conservatory dining room. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, happy to chat and offer advice on places to visit and things to do. A very enjoyable short stay '
'The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. Excellent walk in shower. TV with three...
'Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch

'This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\
