"Prachtig hotel, goed gelegen, vriendelijk personeel, enz. Spijtig dat rond 5-6 uur in de morgen er een hels lawaai was door een vrachtwagen die net onder ons raam was geparkeerd. De chauffeur deed erg zijn best om zoveel mogelijk lawaai te maken tijdens het in of uitladen van goederen voor het hotel. Best geen kamer aan de achterzijde."

"Op zich een prima kamer alleen jammer dat het er bloedheet is en het raam 10 cm open kan. En bij uitchecken hoor je dat er een fan in de kast had moeten staan NIET DUS!!!"

"Had a wonderful time in Newcastle, in part due to my stay at Grey Street Hotel. The location is great, at a lovely vibrant street very close to the train and metro. The building has lots of character, my room was tidy, plenty spacious, well-equipped, cool, quiet, and comfortable with a nice view. Especially appreciated the bath/shower combo which allowed a nice relaxing bath or a quick shower. Staff was very friendly, and I found the breakfast better than other hotels as a variety of dishes can be made on-demand in addition to the available buffet. Will definitely come back here for future visits to Newcastle!"
