'Mooie lodge met uitzicht op het water. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Enig min puntje : iets te weinig keukengerief . Er was geen eetgelegenheid dichtbij ( enige was gesloten). Wel grote supermarkt . Zo hebben we wel ten volle van het terras aan de lodge en het uitzicht kunnen genieten !'

'Margaret vous accueillera chaleureusement dans sa maison au bord de la plage. Chambres très confortables et bien climatisées. Petit déjeuner varié et abondant. Ce n’est pas vraiment un lieu pour se baigner mais c’est un havre de paix au bord de l’eau. '

'Zit erg dicht tegen de doorgaande weg Thames in en dan door naar Coromandel Town, waardoor wat last van het verkeer. Kamer en uitrusting was prima. Personeel behulpzaam. Verder is de locatie vooral handig om de Coromandel peninsula te verkennen en dan door te reizen richting zuid of noord. Thames zelf is niets bijzonders (buiten kennelijk de oude goudmijn).'

'We stayed in one of the lodges that was well-equipped, a good size and with a verandah. Unfortunately not overlooking the beach but it was only a short distance away - if you want a sea view then double check when booking. Also we stayed towards the end of season and the bar and pizza place on site were closed Monday and Tuesday but it was only a 10 minute walk into Hahei for cafes and a great brewery serving food. Couldn’t fault the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. '

'The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and...

'Clean room, beautiful location, easy parking. Enjoyed our stay there and looking out onto the stunning estuary. Great to be able to borrow a spade for hot water beach. Good base to see the surrounding area. Would recommend.'

'Mooi verblijf met een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ze vertelde wat er allemaal te doen is in de omgeving, zo veel, Hotwater Beach, Cathedral Cove, beach of de Coromalbergen in voor wandelingen en veel meer. Een echte aanrader is om naar dit schiereiland te komen, Coromandel'

'Nice but very basic room. Night stands would be very useful. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy and most of the amenities are clean. Just wondering why half of the shower stalls were closed.'
