  • Kom bij ons wonen voor een warm en gezellig gevoel van leven in wat wij de Miner's Shack noemen. Omgeven door bomen, is de Miner's Shack perfect voor familie of vrienden om weg te komen en terug te keren met de natuur. Perfect voor een rustige tijd om te ontspannen en op te laden. The Miner's Shack heeft 3 stapelbedden en een groot bed. Het is gevuld met koffie, kleine koelkast, magnetron en buitengrill. Er is toegang tot een modern badhuis.
    Met de charme van glamping in het land komen de geluiden die het van nature geweldig maken. Het is kalm en vredig, maar verschillende seizoenen brengen krekels die je in slaap zingen of misschien de verre coyote die 's nachts huilt en af en toe een "hoo-hoo-ing" van uilen in de verte. De vogels, haviken en leeuwen en tijgers van de buren begroeten je in de ochtend.

Girls Bachelorette Weekend

We had such an amazing time out on this property! The atmosphere was so unique and beautiful. Great for pictures and perfect for a quiet girls getaway to hang out, relax, and celebrate!

Perfect place to unwind.

Our stay

This location, setting & vibe was everhthing you could dream of an more. The uniqueness, originality & love put into the cabin was so warm, welcoming and fun. We absolutely loved it here & cant reccomend this spot enough. Perfect for a couple, a family, kids & really just about everybody. The scenery was wonderful & the vibe all together was amazing. We loved it & look forward to our next trip.

Neat little spot

Jaime and her mom were incredibly hospitable, it was a unique set up with tons of artists touches and great aesthetic, my kids are still talking about it.

Lovely, quaint place!

Really enjoyed our short stay at the shack! It was a pleasure visiting with Carrie, the host and her amazing dogs. It was also nice to take a short walk over to see the tigers and lion at the nearby wildlife refuge. Wish we could have stayed another night to enjoy an outdoor cookout. Look forward to another stay in the future!

A cozy and serene getaway at this small shack on a farm

From the moment we arrive, Jaymie's mother Carrie greeted us with a great energy. She took us on a tour to around the farm. Introduced us to the animals- her big, amazing dogs, the chickens with a rooster leader and the horses grazing around the house. We stayed in the shack that had a comfortable full bed in the corner and a bunk bed set next to it for 2 people. The shack came with a TV, microwave and fridge. The cabinets had all the essential dishware. Carrie went out her way to provide is muffins and wine. We cooked and grilled salmon outside in front of the shack. Grill comes with a propane tank. The bathroom were so unique and cool. We took pictures all around the property even in the bathroom. The property has another rental place known as the treehouse. It has a hobbit like door and comes with a full size bed. We will check that out for sure in the future. Jaymie was our communication person and from the start she did a wonderful job in answering all of our questions. This was a wonderful stay and I am happy I was able to find it to getaway from the suburbs of Dallas. Thank you Jaymie and Carrie and Biggie and Regan for your hospitaloty.

What a relaxing weekend!

We enjoyed the art, the setting, and the Miner’s Shack. Our hosts were lovely, as were their dogs, horses, and chickens! Our three sons have asked when we can come back and next time we’ll be booking family in the other places on property to enjoy together. Thank you so much Prayer-E-Land!

Magical Wilderness Retreat

Place is amazing, a mix of magic, artist, creativity, wonder, and relaxation. Go see the tigers and lions! We stayed in the miners cabin, plenty of room and relaxation. Next time we are going for the tree house! The dogs that visited during the day were the sweetest amazing pets! We are booking a return visit next month!

We had a great time!

The cabin was a good size for our family of three plus our big dog. There is a bunk bed and a full size bed. The bunk bed is noisy. If you have an active sleeper like our son, put this person in the lower bunk. Cabin comes with a small fridge, microwave, cleaning supplies, coffee maker with pods, paper plates and cups, small tv with selection of DVDS, and to our pleasant surprise, bottles of water, muffins, and wine! There are two bathrooms that are a short walk away from the cabin, with toilet, sink, and shower. The bathrooms are shared with other renters on the premise. When we were there, there was one other couple staying in the tree house rental (super cute treehouse!). Cell reception is poor in the area, you have to get back out to a bigger street before getting full reception. On the property, we got one bar if we moved around a bit. But it was nice to disconnect for a while. There is a wildlife refuge next door with lions and tigers. I don't think it's open to the public, but we could hear the animals roaring. We also heard roosters crowing throughout the day. Added to our fun getaway!

Charming!

We absolutely loved our stay at Prayer E Land! Jayme is an excellent host and gave us a tour of each beautifully unique cabin. I would definitely recommend a weekend stay.

Nice, cozy, and fun

We had a lot of fun staying here. It’s very much a “glamping” experience, but we were ready and excited for that. The Shack has a front porch, back patio, and picnic table outside. Grilling and microwave are your cooking options, which worked well for us. The fridge is short so we also brought a cooler with ice. Inside the shack is very cozy and the AC kept us very cool. Our hosts had pre-cut wood and lighter torch and we enjoyed bonfires each night. Highly recommend walking around the property and see the Lions/Tigers!!

Refreshing retreat

Cozy, cute, and creative. Prayer E. Land is most perfect place to stay if you’re looking to unplug and “camp” in nature. Our family loved our stay.

Fun Country Get-Away!

If you like cute rustic eclectic decor and want to stay somewhere secluded then this is the place for you! We stayed in the Miner's Shack which is adorable and cozy. Restrooms are only a short walk away but not attached so be prepared for this but it really wasn't a problem at all. The friendly owners are quick to reply and greeted us upon arrival to show us around which was very nice. The property is quiet and covered in woods......a nice diversion from the city! Owners have large dogs but they are very gentle and friendly so we didn't mind them at all. Would stay here again!
