‘Beach Daze’ Te Awanga - beach front self contained flat (dog friendly)


Our studio/flat is attached to our home but completely separate and private with its own entrance and car parking and is only a mere stroll across the road to beach. We built our beach house 11 years ago so you will find the purpose built flat modern in design and perfect for a beach escape. It consists of an open plan dinning/kitchenette, separate bedroom with a comfy queen sized bed and a separate spacious bathroom.
Walk across the road and enjoy a dip in a safe swimming beach, relax with a spot of fishing or make the most of Te Awanga's famous surf break when its pumping.
We are within a 3km radius of: Clearview Estate, Te Awanga Estate and Elephant Hill. Checkout the Gannets at Cape Kidnappers either by beach tractor tours, overland by bus or walk the 8km at low tide.
Make the most of Hawkes Bays cycle trails (which literally runs past the front of our house) we have 2 bikes available for guests enjoyment.

Fantastic!

Great little private apartment across the the beach. Private and well appointed, this is a great little place for a getaway, but also good if it’s available for a longer stay. Hosts are friendly and available, if only you need them.

Beaut stay at Beach Daze

Perfect stay for a couple and their dog

We had a lovely stay here for a week. The bach had everything we needed for our Hawkes Bay stay. Fantastic location with the beach just over the quiet road. Walking distance to cafes and only 20 mins from the bigger settlements. Our host welcomed us and answered any questions we had but then left us to our holiday which was nice to have the privacy. We would definitely stay again.

The three C's

Cosy, comfortable, and clean!!!! This rental is well maintained in a quiet location directly across from the bay. We brought our dog and the proximity to walking paths worked well. As well, the property had a fenced off area that allowed our small dog to roam around without fear of him leaving the property. Hosts were friendly but kept their distance which allowed us to feel at ease. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

My husband and I have the most awesome stay, and what made it even better was it was dog friendly and all fenced off. The owners were amazing. It was very private, had everything that we needed, lovely and cheerful. We would certainly book again. Deb and Guy and Bailey (out little dog).

Te Awanga is a beautiful part of NZ. Location of property was incredible. It was fabulous to be able to have our dog be able to stay and was fantastic with the enclosed part for her. Only suggestion I would make would be for a BBQ to be added to amenities.

We had such a lovely stay here and it had everything we needed. Was a perfect location, being able to walk across the road to the beach for a swim was lovely. Providing the bikes was just awesome, was great to be able to bike to the wineries and shops. Thanks so much for a great stay!

What a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was very well equipped (including bikes, books and board games) and so close to the water! We loved this little gem and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a perfect getaway.
