'As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. 'Goede kamer, wel met gedeelde badkamer, wat voor ons geen probleem was. Wel had het wat schoner gekund en het is heel gehorig. Op vrijdagavond waren er veel dronken mensen buiten aan het schreeuwen tot midden in de nacht, gelukkig hadden we oordoppen mee. Er is een keuken, waar je je ontbijt/eten kan klaarmaken met koelkast, dus dat is fijn! '

'All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.'

'Great communication. Room was spotless and warm for my arrival. Oat milk provided, so I could enjoy a cup of tea! Lovely bathroom, bed is super comfortable and I slept really well. Quiet location only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Totnes. Would definitely stay ahain on a future visit.'
