'Ten years ago it would have been a nice hotel but it lost the race against time. Guest from a wedding party were very loud and irritating around 1AM. '

'The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

'What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. 'We found the Hotel through the reviews on here and we had a fabulous experience. Both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent. Locally sourced, beautifully prepared food. Our hosts were excellent. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.'

'The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.'

'This posh B and B was everything we hoped for. From the complimentary drink on arrival to the luxurious room with comfy bed, selection or teas/coffee machine and homemade shortbread biscuits. It was an extremely hot weekend and the air conditioning in our room was so welcomed. We had an evening meal there and attention to details was excellent.
