Chalet 8 @ The Retreat

Chalet 8 @ The Retreat is the most private of all the chalets, tucked away so other guests cannot see in from the common areas. Looking out across the lawn to the Taupo marina, with partial lake views from both decks, it balances sunshine throughout the day with natural shading from boundary trees. A quiet and secluded chalet, it is ideal for those who value privacy.

Each chalet at The Retreat is:

- 2 levels
- 2 bedrooms
- an internal area of 110 square metres

Chalet 8 can accommodate 5 guests comfortably, and up to 7 guests by utilising the sofa bed in the lounge. 

On the Ground Floor is a full size kitchen, lounge, dining, laundry, toilet, and outdoor deck with table and a BBQ.

On the Upper Floor is two bedrooms:

The Master Bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, wardrobe, outdoor deck, study desk. 
Bedding configuration options are: 
- super king bed; or
- 2 x single beds.

The Second Bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and wardrobe.
Bedding configuration options are:
- three single beds (two king singles + a single bed); or
- a californian king bed + a single bed.

Heating and cooling options include wood burning fire, and air conditioning units (heating & cooling) downstairs and in each bedroom. 

Free ultra fast fibre WIFI is included.

Each chalet has a 43" Smart TV, for guests to view live TV, or log in to their preferred streaming app accounts (eg. Netflix, Neon, Sky Sport, TV on demand, etc).

Hot water is supplied via a gas hot water system, providing endless hot water.
