'The cottage was perfect for us, beautifully decorated, very clean, and very well equipped with anything we could possible need. The management was very helpful when we ended up arriving late, even keeping the grocery store open after hours for us. It's a very quiet remote location with a view of the lovely Rock Sound. Having the grocery store within walking distance was great!'

'Tara Estate worked well for us as we primarily came to fish out of Davis Harbor, which is relatively close by. The house had a few “quirks”, but they were expected as it is nearing 90 years old. However, the property managers, a Shorlette and Joey, were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Thanks for a great two weeks in Tara Estate!'

'I am originally from The Bahamas and spent every Easter as a child in Rock Sound with my grandparents. My wife and I decided to spend Easter this year with my family. The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. 'Great vacation It's our second time in Winding Bay. Best house we stayed. The house is lovely, bed is very comfortable, kitchen well supplied, kayaks, paddle board. Nice and long beach, very quiet. Many groceries close, fresh fish at Tarpum bay dock and a local vendor for fruits and vegetables at Tarpum Bay. We discoverd a very good restaurant in Rock Sound, The Wild Orchid, reasonable prices and very good food. We want to Thank Chris, he is very easygoing and pleasant. We will come back....
