'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The food was very good, the room was large and clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.'

'The staff were very helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable.'

'outstanding service, unbelievable friendly personnel'

'Staff were excellent. Very nice outside area to eat in summer ! You must book in advance. (We didn't unfortunately) Meal was excellent and good breakfast the next day. Ample parking.'

'Room was clean and tidy on arrival Staff went above and beyond very helpful nothing was to much Breakfast was amazing lots of choice whatever your taste and all the food that came out looked good liked the fact juice and pasties where available as well as tea/ coffee and toast. We took our dog and again the staff order water and happily gave him a sausage for his breakfast. A lovely hotel in centre of Britain definitely worth a stop over'

'Such a neat location! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a rushed overnight in transit between sights. The host was so kind. Appreciated the clean room and the breakfast options.'

'The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My room for one person was spacious and comfortably. . I loved the small kitchen and the crumpets and jam ! The only minus point was there was no airco and the room was very warm even with the 2 fans that were provided on full.'

'Very friendly owner and nice breakfast!'

'A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities'

'Aangenaam verblijf met vriendelijk personeel. '

'Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.'

'Absolutely lovely place to stay, great location, nice, modern finishes, clean and well kept and the kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommend!'

'Mooi Engels huis met hartelijke ontvangst. Goed uitgebreid ontbijt.

'A very pleasant one night stay in a very comfortable standard room. Tea making facilities were welcomed and the Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the station. Buffet breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The building itself is a lovely historical place and we had a peaceful nights sleep. Bathroom was modern with a great sized shower. '
