« We spent 4 nights here and would highly recommend this hotel. The location was very convenient, close to the train station. The onsen were really nice, you have a great view of the town on the upper floor, after taking a bath. Private onsen is also very affordable (1000 yen). The breakfast was also great, traditional meal and also a buffet where you can get more stuff. Would definitely stay here again »

« Great hotel. As super as the name implies. It is 100 meters away from the train station. The hotel is well constructed, smart and easy to check-in. The hotel staff was very helpful. Shoutout to the young male receptionist who spoke very good English. The room was very clean and large. The onsen was the best part. It is free to access, very clean, relaxing. The staff helped us to find a restaurant with vegetarian options (I recommend Jinde, down the road from the hotel). »

« The check in process was complicated compaired to all the other accomodations we have stayed.there ead no welcome pack, dirty and worn out kitchen sponge, the photis on the internet are misleading, they advertise that there is a wash room upstairs but it was 2 tiny basins with cold water only. The onsen indoors was dirty so we had to scrub it clean to then use it, there was 1 mirror so the six of us were fighting for it in the morning. No umbrellas and it rained the time we were there. « The stay at KAI Beppu was nothing short of amazing. It was my first time in Beppu, and staying at KAI made the experience truly memorable. The sea-view shakkei was beautiful and definitely the highlight. The room was well-sized, and the indoor onsen was a godsend. The kaiseki meals were also delicious, and choosing the half-board option was a great decision. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling. I would definitely come back and explore more KAI and Hoshino Resorts...

« Wir hatten zwar ein sehr großes Zimmer für bis zu 10 Personen, aber es war nicht mal ein WC drin. Der hauseigene Onsen war zwar praktisch, aber auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. »

« Cet hôtel est typiquement japonais, chambre futon, yukata à disposition et 2 onsen : 1 intérieur et 1 sur le toit, très agréable. Nous avions pris une chambre avec open air bath côté mer, je conseille d'ailleurs de demander une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Personnel très serviable, petit déjeuner sous forme de plateau kaseiki, petit plat de différentes spécialités japonaises : riz, miso, poisson grillé, salade légumes marinés... parfait si vous voulez vivre l'expérience japonaise complète. »
