Private Self Contain studio in the heart of St Marys

A private( not shared ) self contain and fully furnished private studio apartment in the heart of St Marys.
We are in the centre to the Blue mountain and Sydney city, easy 3 minutes drive access to the M4, 20-25 mins drive to the blue mountain, 5-8 mins drive to Nepean hospital and 10 mins drive to Penrith westfield.
Walk to Aldi store and Woolworths at St Marys shopping centre, 2 mins drive access to the Great western highway and 2 mins walk to bus stop.

Please note, my studio apartment is designed for couples or singles only, restricted no kids.
The studio has a large comfortable queen size bed with clean linens and pillow cases provided. There is a large mirrored built in wardrobe, with hangers and shelves spaces, steam iron and iron board provided.
A fully functional kitchen with stove,cutleries, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer and microwave, and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cereals with some fruits provided.
In the bathroom is a shower, bathtub and toilet with complimentary toilet papers, towels, soaps and shampoo.
The studio has it’s own front patio with outdoor seating for smoke and fresh air.
There is outdoor laundry with 2 big washing machines with laundry detergents provided.

Allocated car parkings on the premises available for all guests.

A great stay.

My accommodations exceeded my expectations. Siai greeted me and showed me to where I’d be staying. Provided me with all the amenities and comforts of home including a cute little coffee bar with coffee provided. I was left to my privacy to enjoy my stay on my own, all the while if I needed anything Siai was just a message away and more than happy to help. The property is at the end of the street and has some lovely trees out back. Each morning you can have your morning cuppa looking out over nature. While it was more rural there were no bugs, spiders or any creepy crawly intruders. So no worries there if that’s a concern. The birds may bring you a wake up call though. If you’d like to stay somewhere more rural but not so far away that it’s an issue. This is the happy balance. The public transpo is just a skip and a hop down the street and quite reliable, but if that’s not your vibe than I would recommend renting a car for this location. 10/10 would stay here again.

This was a perfect accommodation option while I was attending to my father’s surgery and post surgery care in the hospital. It was a relief to come back after a long day at the hospital and know I could cook or nuke something quick in the microwave. The cereal options and full carton of milk was very appreciated, as was the endless supply of coffee/tea. Everything was great. Lots of towels, garbage bags and everyday household products were available. Privacy was respected and it was a safe place to stay. Thank you very much. I will be booking future stays for sure!

Relaxing Setting

This is a wonderful, farm setting on a dead end street, very peaceful. Close access to the Blue Mountains, by car. We took the train to Sidney. An hour by train. From this location you can walk to Aldi and restaurants. Loved the private porch. We saw birds and kangaroos from the porch..

Country retreat near Sydney

We enjoyed our stay in St Mary’s. Sia was a gracious hostess and helped us get settled after we arrived a bit frazzled. We didn’t realize from the photos that this studio apartment is part of an older farmhouse that has been converted into apartments. It’s located on the edge of a nature reserve where we enjoyed walking and listening to the birds. An abundance of breakfast foods were provided. We were delighted with the lovely shower and bathtub for soaking after traveling from the USA. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. This studio is about an hour drive away from the Sydney airport or downtown Sydney. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring the area. Parramatta shopping center is a wonder and really worth exploring nearby. We took an excursion into the Blue Mountains and were thoroughly delighted with our experiences there.

The room itself was ok however there was no wifi only 3 channels worked on the tv once i fixed it the room was not very private we were kept awake by an adjoining room noise after several attempts to ask them to be quiet about 1am.

The reverse-cycle heating function didn’t work. The only heating for the whole apartment was one panel heater near the bed, which we kept on. However, the bedroom still dropped to 12 degrees on a mild 8 degree Sydney night. It was excruciatingly cold showering in the bathroom, which was two rooms away from the panel heater. We weren’t given wifi details either by email, in greeting us or in the apartment. We couldn’t contact the host as we had no internet, and VRBO only gave us a link to click to contact the host. Long-life milk capsules in the fridge were curdled with big white lumps in them. Only one, very dim light in the bathroom. My husband couldn’t shave; I couldn’t do makeup. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the window wouldn’t open, so the bathroom totally steamed up when we showered. Only one, very dim light in the kitchen; the same switch also turned on an exhaust fan in there. Too cold to have an unnecessary fan on. The following morning, we remembered that the host’s husband’s mobile number was on the gate at the other end of the long driveway, as he sells eggs. When we rang him as we left, he denied that the heating didn’t work or that there was anything else wrong with the apartment. He became unpleasant. He wanted us to come back and talk to him face-to-face. He wouldn’t give us a refund for our pre-paid second night there. We went and stayed at the Holiday Inn in St Mary’s. Less than twice the price for more than ten times the comfort.

Spacious unit and a quiet location

Thank you for a relaxing break at your place! This unit is located half way between the Blue Mountains and the City, which suited our needs. The train station is easily accessible by car and has ample parking. If you can overlook some cosmetic and minor functional flaws, this is good value for a comfortable and peaceful stay near Sydney. I would visit again for a short stay where self-catering and room space are advantages. Love the verandah!
