The location was very good with an overall 10 minutes drive to trains, ferries and shops. The original communication with owner was very good and prompt. We were given location and access info the day before, being told access was by combination lock. On arrival owner was just leaving after finishing the cleaning so, the door was already unlocked. Access to the unit was down a long stepped pathway with uneven steps that my wife found difficult. It could do with a handrail for convenience. It was when we were to go out that we ran into trouble of trying to lock the door. After several attempts we succeeded not knowing quite hell we had done it. Later that early evening I texted the owner for clarification of locking and unlocking door. His response was quick but a little vague. Suffice to say the day before we left we were able to resolve it. The premises were underneath the main house, overall the unit had most things but, the bathroom was extremely small so much so that one had to sit at an angle when using the toilet. Ones knees were up aginst the wall. The toilet was an asian style one with bidet etc. which we never used not knowing how it worked. Pan was very small. We also found the double bed to be not as comfortable as hoped, also we were kept awake from what sounded like stomping from people upstairs up until 1-2 in the morning. Air conditioning was good, kitchen items adequate, we did no cooking and tv had plenty of channels but we were unable to find free to air.
