On arrival we were welcomed to a sign on the door advising us of our room number and that the key was inside the room. I tried to phone the number on the door and ring the doorbell which fell on deaf ears. After realising that they wrote Joshua on the door and not John we passed the laundry and found the dinning room closed and the door covered with black plastic. Then came the games room which was locked. On arrival to our room firstly the room looks exceptable, older but clean. Viewing the cupboards and finding two of everything we thought we were on to a winner until I opened the fridge to find one lonely glass.Reading through the guest book I find that we have Foxtel, great I thought until the channels listed didn't offer Foxtel. Oh well there is still the pool but wait you need to contact the manager for a code to enter the public pool.No manager or staff member seen throughout my entire stay. (3 Nights.) The barbecue had baked on food and stayed that way for my entire stay.
Nice and Quiet, clean BBQ facilities, Pool table in games room, Access to a laned pool.
Clean, comfortable room.
5 Minute walk to ANSTO visitor reception, so very convenient if you are attending a course there.
No meals available on site, Cafe next door for bfast and lunch.
Loved the area and I found the room very well cleaned, well air-conditioned and equipped. I arrived slightly after office hours and David was excellent in responding immediately to my phone call which concerned swimming pool access. Grounds also great. I found David's Mother cleaning the rooms in the morning and she was equally welcoming and friendly.
