« So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel! This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel. We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building. I was travelling alone with my young daughter and couldnt understand why we were put so far away from civilisation. Something felt...

« Le restaurant est vraiment bien. Malheureusement pour avoir une bonne nuit (ce qui reste l'essentiel dans mon cas), c'est compliqué quand la chambre est au dessus des cuisines dans une vieille bâtisse... Bruiante jusqu'à plus de 23h puis ça repart avec réception marchandise à 6h. »

« Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall. »

« Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly. Room, Toilet and shower very clean. Tea and coffee in the room was always replenished. The fan system air and refrigeration from the kitchen in the Beefeater was very loud especially at 05:30 AM. All in all I can recommend this hotel. 8 minutes with a Taxi to the train station. »

« We had a fantastic stay here whilst attending a wedding nearby. The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. The entire house was very well kept and we would highly recommend staying here - thank you! »

« The clean and well equipped rooms are in a separate building to the pub itself so there are no food smells or customer noise. The setting is lovely with walks and the marina nearby. There is plenty of parking (free). All in all, great value for money. »

« I’ve stayed her over 4 years ago on a regularly. I’m glad to say the fantastic food and service hasn’t changed. Unfortunately there is no car park at rear of hotel now seating area. »

« The staff was very very pleasant and welcoming including for our dog! They kept asking us if everything g was ok and helped us with the dinner in the bar because our dog wasn't admitted in the restaurant. Special thanks to Youssef for talking to us in french! i highly recommend this hotel ! »
