'It was tricky to find where to check-in as the accommodation is right next to the bar next door. Don't go to the wrong one! Accommodation itself is a bit tired but does the job. Some features of the room were better than higher priced options e.g place to put your bag which is not the floor :) Dinner was excellent! Highly recommend. I would stay here again due to proximity to the excellent food option.'

'They put us in the wrong room. We paid for a larger room but only in the morning did the receptionist advise us of her mistake. The room was comfortable and clean but I did slice my finger quite deeply on a broken tile around where a new shower head was installed. It was like a razor and needs to be fixed. We should also get a refund of the difference between the room I booked and the standard roomI received. It is quiet, bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning works well.'

'The housekeepers were great and super kind. The FOH staff were NOT. Room was OK- No Smart TV as I have had in previous occasions and 2 cockroaches in the room (I guess its the season for it).'

'Very good reception by Naomi'

'Als je op doorreis bent een prima hotel. Van vrijdag t/m zondag zijn alle restaurants op een na gesloten.'

'Very friendly couple from Bangladesh is working here with their baby. They working hard together knowing what hospitality is. Breakfast is poor but oké, only the peanutbutter was over date en no jam… Room, bathroom are simple but clean, everything you need is there. '

'Prima hotel, goed eten en fijne medewerkers. De faciliteiten op de kamer zijn wat veroudert, de wc loopt continu door, wat roest, etc. Omgeving is uitstekend en uitvalsbasis voor zo’n beetje alles wat Mackay te bieden heeft.'

'This is an older style motel but the rooms are clean, roomy and the bed is comfortable with crisp, white sheets and pillows. Nothing fancy with this motel but everything works and for an overnight stay with a small dog, it is ideal. The only unusual element is that the office is not open for check-in. You call a phone number and a woman talks you through where to find the key and your room number. We didn't need to talk directly to staff so no problem for us.'

'A nice room to stay in for work'

'I'm amazed at the ratings people have given this motel. The room was down a brick corridor and smelt mouldy. I'm glad I was only staying overnight. I'm not sure it was that reasonably priced but it was close to town.'

'Very clean rooms..pool area excellent & great parking space'
