A night of experience
room was comfortable but there was no service lift to go to upper floor which is a hassle for me as i have a big luggage with me. the water pressure in the shower was poor. serivce at the cafe d'luaq was also slow. other than that it was a pleasant stay

Good value in Sungai Petani
The people at Seri Malaysia in Sungai Petani were great, and the room itself was basic but clean. The AC worked, the WiFi was fine, and there were adequate electrical outlets. The bathroom had definitely seen better days, with chipped tile and ragged towels. We did not have breakfast there so I can't comment on that. There are restaurants nearby. The hotel was adequate for our one-night stay and a good base for exploring this area, and good value for money.

Warm welcome by the staff. Great! Dislike: toilet bowl looks rusty and dirty..shower not user friendly. Nasi lemak was served after half an hour waiting. Some of plates were not clean. No elevator provided, so we have to bring up our heavy baggage by stepping up the stairs...uhuhuhu

The toilet needs to be refurbished. There are stains and cracks on the Wales & Also the wash basin. The toilet bowl is Also Sorry & stained. Break fast was bad. There was Not enough food & replenishing was rather late.. we had to wait a long time. They even tan out of serving plates..

Hotel near town & public transportation.
Hotel location is very good, near town and public transport, but shockingly, TV provided in room does not serve it's purpose as nothing can receive in every channels which is just like staying in jungle. It's shocking to see the lackadaisical attitude of the technical staff who just came to see the TV & refused to even try to adjust the channels when requested. He even proudly told me that "it's like this one, cannot improve anymore" and then just walk off, without doing anything at all, not even trying to test or adjust the aerial cable connection, which I noticed was very lose not properly connected. Why the hotel need an employee who just spend his time walking around not knowing his scope of work??

Free breakfast but not enough food
Room is decent enough but the television is NOT... We virtually can't watch any TV programs due to bad reception or the TV is really screwed up. Breakfast time is the worst! They charged for 2 additional kids but turn out there was NO re-fill for the food in the buffet line. To make matter worse, there was NO more bread left when we wanted to eat some toast! Why give FREE breakfast when you don't have enough food to serve? Captain offered a half refund when I complained but I rather choose NO refund so I can write an honest review of the hotel. Yes, you can't complain much when Seri Malaysia room rates are one of the lowest but at least, be sincere when it comes to service and promotions.

i was 1st time in hotel..my room nom 311...when they i was book another room for my family..almost 2 room rdy i take under my name..tat day also from my office almost 10room was book at same hotel.. toilet bowl all looking like motel..flash pakai tali ikat the holder.. toilet bowl n veiw inside toilet all look like very old ... very bad condition ,some more water supply very slown air condition all very poor cooling.when was report they say technician not around here n change room..some more the bad thing mosquitoes(nyamuk)too many at inside room.. my bad experience 1 was parking my car in hotel compound ..morning went to check out sock see my car glasses back side was broken my somebody to stolen ..i do know were was security going ..i went to report to management they simply say parking car is on risk .. u can do complain letter n i will pass to management n u go police station to report..tat is the manger word to converse me.. very sad day n bad experience for me..
